This shower set is designed for wall-mounted installation and uses American standard 1/2 inch NPT threads for compatibility with most plumbing connections. Professional installation is recommended.
4.1. Rough-in Valve Installation
The pressure balance valve body must be installed within the wall. Ensure proper depth and orientation according to the markings on the valve body for hot and cold water inlets and shower outlets.

5. Operating Instructions
The MONDAWE shower system is designed for easy operation with a single handle for temperature and flow control, and a diverter knob to switch between shower functions.
5.1. Water Flow and Temperature Control
The main handle controls both water flow and temperature. Rotate the handle to adjust the temperature from cold to hot. Lift the handle to increase water flow and push it down to decrease or turn off the flow.
5.2. Function Selection
Use the small knob on the control plate to switch between the rainfall shower head and the handheld shower. Only one function can be active at a time.

6. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your shower system.
6.1. Cleaning the Shower Heads
Both the rainfall shower head and the handheld shower are equipped with silicone jet nozzles. To remove calcium and lime build-up, simply wipe the nozzles with your finger or a soft cloth. This is particularly effective in areas with hard water.
6.2. General Cleaning
Clean the brushed gold finish with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish. Mild soap and water are generally sufficient for routine cleaning.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your shower system, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Low water pressure | Clogged shower head nozzles or debris in the system. | Clean silicone nozzles on shower heads. Check for debris in the water supply lines or valve. |
| Water temperature fluctuates | Issue with the pressure balance valve or water heater settings. | Ensure the pressure balance valve is correctly installed. Check your water heater settings. If problems persist, consult a plumber. |
| Leaking from connections | Loose connections or damaged seals. | Tighten all connections. Check and replace any worn or damaged O-rings or gaskets. Use plumber's tape on threaded connections during installation. |
| Diverter not switching functions | Debris in the diverter mechanism or internal component issue. | Flush the system. If the issue continues, the diverter cartridge may need inspection or replacement by a professional. |
