5. Setup Instructions
- Placement: Position the air pump on a flat, dry surface. It is crucial to place the pump above the water level of your aquarium or pond to prevent water from siphoning back into the pump in case of a power outage. If placing below water level, install a check valve (not included) on the airline tubing to prevent backflow.
- Connect Air Tubing: Attach one end of the provided airline tubing to the stainless steel air outlet on the pump.
- Connect Air Splitter: Connect the other end of the airline tubing to the inlet of the 4-outlet copper air flow splitter.
- Connect Air Accessories: Attach additional airline tubing (not included) from each outlet of the splitter to your air stones, sponge filters, or other air-driven accessories.
- Submerge Accessories: Place your air stones or other accessories into the aquarium or pond, ensuring they are fully submerged.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. Ensure your hands are dry when handling the plug.

6. Operating Instructions
- Power On: Once connected, the pump will start operating.
- Adjust Airflow (Pump): Locate the adjustable switch on the bottom of the pump. Slide the switch to 'HI' for high air output or 'LO' for low air output, depending on your aeration needs.
- Adjust Airflow (Splitter): Use the individual valves on the 4-outlet copper air flow splitter to fine-tune the air supply to each connected accessory. Turn the valve handles to increase or decrease the flow.
- Power Off: To turn off the pump, simply unplug it from the electrical outlet.

7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your air pump.
- Air Stones/Accessories: Periodically check and clean air stones or other air-driven accessories. Clogged air stones can reduce airflow and put strain on the pump. Replace them if heavily clogged.
- Airline Tubing: Inspect the airline tubing for kinks, blockages, or damage. Replace any damaged tubing.
- Pump Exterior: Keep the exterior of the pump clean and free from dust. Wipe with a dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or immerse the pump in water.
- Placement: Ensure the pump remains on a stable, dry surface and is not exposed to splashing water.
