7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your HIRALIY HN03-Timer, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| 'Err' message on display | Abnormal operating condition, e.g., low water pressure, blockage, or sensor issue. | Check water pressure at the faucet. Ensure there are no kinks in the hose or blockages in the timer's inlet/outlet. Restart the timer by removing and reinserting batteries. |
| No water flow during scheduled watering | Faucet off, low battery, incorrect schedule, or blockage. | Ensure faucet is fully open. Check battery level and replace if low. Verify watering schedule settings. Check for blockages in the hose or timer. |
| Blank or unresponsive screen | Dead or low batteries, loose battery connection, or internal malfunction. | Replace batteries with fresh ones. Ensure batteries are inserted correctly. If the problem persists, contact customer support. |
| Timer not watering for the set volume/duration | Low water pressure, flow sensor issue, or incorrect setting. | Ensure adequate water pressure. Note: Do not use with misting cooling systems as low water pressure might cause malfunction. Verify the 'HOW MUCH' or duration setting. |
| Leaks from connections | Loose connections, missing/damaged washer. | Ensure all connections are hand-tight. Check if rubber washers are properly seated and not damaged. Replace washers if necessary. |
