8. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your forimo TC-045 water heater.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No hot water or inconsistent temperature | Low water pressure, gas supply issue, sensor malfunction, mineral buildup. | Check water supply pressure (minimum 3.6 PSI). Verify gas supply is open. Ensure no gas leaks. If issue persists, contact a qualified technician for sensor check or descaling. |
| Unit displays "E2" error code | This code typically indicates a flame failure or ignition issue. | Check gas supply. Ensure proper ventilation and no exhaust blockages. Turn the unit off and on again. If the error persists, contact a qualified technician. |
| Water goes cold during shower | Insufficient flow rate, unit cycling off due to safety, or thermostat issue. | Ensure adequate water flow. Check for any error codes. If the problem is intermittent, it may indicate a thermostat issue requiring professional service. |
| Unit does not turn on | No power, no water flow, or gas supply off. | Verify power connection. Open a hot water faucet to initiate flow. Check if the gas supply valve is open. |
