The dash cam supports various display configurations:

- Front + Rear View: Shows a split screen with both front and rear camera feeds.

5.4 Loop Recording

Figure 5.3: Advanced features including Loop Recording. An infographic detailing the advanced features of the dash cam: Loop Recording, 24-hour Parking Monitoring, G-Sensor for impact detection, and WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) for improved image quality in varying light conditions.
When the memory card is full, the dash cam automatically overwrites the oldest unlocked video files to continue recording. This ensures continuous recording without manual intervention. Videos protected by the G-sensor or parking control will not be overwritten.
5.5 G-Sensor (Gravity Sensor)
The built-in G-sensor detects sudden impacts or collisions. When an event is detected, the current video segment is automatically locked and saved to prevent it from being overwritten by loop recording. This feature is crucial for preserving evidence in case of an accident.
5.6 Motion Detection
When enabled, motion detection allows the dash cam to start recording automatically if it detects movement in front of the vehicle while parked. This feature helps monitor your vehicle when you are away.
5.7 Parking Control (24-hour Parking Monitoring)

Figure 5.4: Parking assistance and monitoring. An illustration depicting the dash cam's parking assistance features, including a top-down view of a car reversing into a parking spot and images showing the rear camera's utility for safe parking and monitoring.
With parking control enabled, the dash cam can monitor your vehicle for impacts even when parked. If an impact or vibration is detected, the DVR will automatically power on and record a short video, providing evidence of potential damage or incidents.
5.8 Date and Time Display
The dash cam displays the current date and time on the screen and embeds this information into recorded video files, providing accurate timestamps for all footage.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning the Lens: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently clean the camera lenses. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could scratch the lens surface.
- Cleaning the Screen: Wipe the touch screen with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen cleaner designed for electronics.
- TF Card Care: Periodically format the TF card (every 1-2 months) within the dash cam's settings to maintain optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Back up any important files before formatting.
- Operating Environment: Avoid exposing the dash cam to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, or excessive humidity.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your dash cam, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Dash Cam does not power on:
- Ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the dash cam and the vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
- Check if the vehicle's 12V power outlet is functioning.
- Verify that the vehicle's ignition is on.
- Recording stops or freezes:
- Ensure a high-speed (Class 10 or higher) TF card is used.
- Format the TF card regularly to clear corrupted files and optimize performance.
- The TF card may be full; loop recording should manage this, but a faulty card can cause issues. Replace if necessary.
- Poor video quality:
- Clean the camera lenses to remove dirt or smudges.
- Ensure the protective film has been removed from the lenses.
- Check video resolution settings in the menu.
- Screen is unresponsive:
- Restart the device by disconnecting and reconnecting the power.
- If available, use a reset button (often a small pinhole) to perform a factory reset.
