2. Safety Instructions
To reduce the risk of injury or damage, always follow basic safety precautions when using your robot vacuum cleaner. Keep this manual for future reference.
- This appliance is for indoor household use only. Do not use it outdoors or in commercial/industrial environments.
- Do not use the robot vacuum cleaner on wet surfaces or to pick up liquids, burning or smoking objects, or large, sharp debris.
- Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of the body away from openings and moving parts.
- Ensure the power adapter and charging contacts are not damaged. Use only the original power adapter provided by the manufacturer.
- Do not operate the robot vacuum cleaner in rooms where infants or children are sleeping.
- Supervise children and pets to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
- Before use, remove any loose cables, small objects, or fragile items from the floor to prevent entanglement or damage.

4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.
4.2 Installing Side Brushes
Attach the two side brushes to the designated posts on the bottom of the robot vacuum cleaner. Press firmly until they click into place.
4.3 Initial Charging
- Connect the power adapter to the charging port on the side of the robot vacuum cleaner.
- Plug the power adapter into a suitable electrical outlet (Bivolt: 110V/220V compatible).
- The charging indicator light will illuminate. Allow approximately 2 hours for a full charge.
- Once fully charged, the robot vacuum cleaner has an autonomy of approximately 100 minutes.
4.4 Attaching the MOP Pad
Securely attach the dry MOP pad to the designated area on the bottom of the robot vacuum cleaner. Ensure it is properly aligned for effective dry mopping.
5. Operating
5.1 Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button on the top of the robot until the indicator light illuminates.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until the indicator light turns off.
5.2 Cleaning Modes
The Philco PAS22P offers two primary cleaning modes:
- Random Mode: The robot navigates randomly, changing direction upon encountering obstacles. This mode is suitable for general cleaning of open areas.
- Spiral Mode: The robot cleans in an expanding spiral pattern, ideal for concentrated cleaning of a specific dirty area.
To switch between cleaning modes, briefly press the Mode button on the top of the robot while it is operating.
5.3 Dry MOP Function
The integrated dry MOP function allows the robot to sweep and dry mop simultaneously. Ensure the MOP pad is clean and properly attached before starting a cleaning cycle for optimal results.
5.4 Intelligent Navigation
The robot is equipped with:
- Anti-fall Sensors: Detect edges and stairs to prevent the robot from falling.
- Obstacle Sensors: Detect furniture and other objects, allowing the robot to navigate around them and avoid collisions.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your robot vacuum cleaner.
6.1 Emptying the Dustbin
It is recommended to empty the 600ml dustbin after each cleaning cycle or when the dustbin full indicator (if available) illuminates.
- Open the top cover of the robot vacuum cleaner.
- Carefully remove the dustbin by pulling its handle.
- Open the dustbin lid and empty its contents into a waste bin.
- Close the dustbin lid and reinsert it into the robot until it clicks into place.
6.2 Cleaning the HEPA Filter
The HEPA filter should be cleaned regularly (e.g., weekly) and replaced every 3-6 months, depending on usage.
- Remove the dustbin as described above.
- Take out the HEPA filter from the dustbin.
- Tap the filter gently over a waste bin to remove dust and debris. Do not wash the HEPA filter with water.
- Reinsert the clean HEPA filter into the dustbin, then place the dustbin back into the robot.
6.3 Cleaning Side Brushes
Inspect and clean the side brushes regularly to remove tangled hair or debris.
- Gently pull the side brushes upwards to remove them from their posts.
- Remove any hair or debris wrapped around the brushes or their posts.
- Reattach the brushes by pressing them down until they click into place.
6.4 Cleaning the MOP Pad
The dry MOP pad should be cleaned after each use.
- Remove the MOP pad from the robot.
- Shake off loose dust or debris. If necessary, hand wash the pad with mild detergent and water.
- Allow the MOP pad to air dry completely before reattaching it to the robot.
6.5 Cleaning Sensors
Wipe the anti-fall and obstacle sensors with a clean, dry cloth periodically to ensure proper function.
