2. Safety Instructions
General Safety: Always disconnect the power supply before performing any work on the pump. Ensure the power outlet is properly grounded and protected by a residual current device (RCD) with a tripping current of no more than 30 mA. Do not operate the pump if the power cable or plug is damaged. Keep children and unauthorized persons away from the operating area.
Electrical Safety: The pump is designed for use with alternating current (AC) only. The voltage must match the specifications on the rating plate. Do not use the pump in swimming pools or ponds while people are in the water. Avoid running the pump dry, as this can cause damage. The Aqua-Sensor provides dry-run protection, but regular checks are recommended.
Personal Safety: Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves and safety footwear when handling the pump. Do not lift the pump by its power cable or discharge hose. Use the integrated carrying handle for transport.

4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking and Inspection
Carefully remove the pump and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect all components for any signs of damage. Do not use damaged parts. Ensure all listed components are present: 1x Dirty Water Pump, 1x Universal Adapter, 1x Quick Coupling.
4.2 Connecting the Discharge Hose
The pump is supplied with a quick coupling and a universal adapter for various hose sizes. Choose the appropriate connection for your discharge hose.
- Quick Coupling: For fast attachment and detachment of hoses with a 47.8 mm connection.
- Universal Adapter: Suitable for 25 mm (1 inch) and 38 mm (1 ½ inch) hoses, as well as 33.3 mm (G 1”) external threads. Secure the hose with a hose clamp (not included) to prevent leaks.

4.3 Positioning the Pump
Place the pump on a stable, level surface in the water. Ensure the suction openings at the bottom are not obstructed by mud, sand, or debris. For dirty water applications, ensure the pump is positioned to allow maximum particle intake without clogging.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Aqua-Sensor Function
The Aqua-Sensor allows for automatic operation based on the water level. You can adjust the desired start level using the dial on the side of the pump. The pump will automatically switch on when the water reaches the set level and switch off when the water drops below a certain threshold, preventing dry running.
- Setting the Start Level: Rotate the Aqua-Sensor dial to select the desired water level at which the pump should activate.
- Dry-Run Protection: The Aqua-Sensor automatically protects the pump from damage by shutting it off if the water level becomes too low.

5.2 Switching Between Dirty and Clear Water Modes
The pump's base can be adjusted to optimize for either dirty water (up to 35 mm particle size) or clear water (down to 1 mm residual level). Refer to the markings on the pump base for adjustment.
- Dirty Water Mode: Set the base to allow for larger particle intake. This mode is ideal for draining ponds, construction pits, or flooded basements with suspended solids.
- Clear Water Mode: Adjust the base for flat suction, enabling the pump to remove water down to a 1 mm residual level. This is suitable for draining pools or other areas where minimal water residue is desired. The suction level can be adjusted in 4 steps.

5.3 Powering On/Off
Once the pump is positioned and the hose is connected, plug the power cable into a suitable, grounded electrical outlet. The pump will activate according to the Aqua-Sensor settings. To manually stop the pump, unplug it from the power source.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your pump. Always disconnect the power supply before any maintenance work.
6.1 Cleaning the Pump
After each use, especially when pumping dirty water, rinse the pump thoroughly with clean water. This prevents sediment buildup and clogging. Check the suction openings for any debris and remove them carefully.
6.2 Checking Seals and Impeller
Periodically inspect the mechanical seal for wear or damage. Check the impeller for any obstructions or damage. If necessary, consult a qualified technician for repairs or replacement parts.

6.3 Storage
Before storing the pump for extended periods, especially during winter, ensure it is thoroughly cleaned and completely drained of water. Store the pump in a dry, frost-free location.
