1. Introduction

The INIA HAUTE IPL Hair Removal Device is designed for safe and effective hair removal in the comfort of your home. Utilizing advanced Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology with a unique Double-Pulse feature and integrated ice-cooling, it aims to provide long-lasting hair reduction results.

2.1 Skin Tone and Hair Color Compatibility

The effectiveness and safety of IPL hair removal depend on your skin tone and hair color. This device is most effective on lighter skin tones and darker hair colors. It is not suitable for very dark skin tones or very light hair colors (white, grey, red, or very light blonde).

2.2 General Safety Precautions

• Always wear the provided protective eyewear during treatment to protect your eyes from the intense light flashes.
• Do not use on tattooed areas, moles, birthmarks, or areas with skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, or open wounds.
• Avoid direct exposure to the light window.
• Keep the device away from water and other liquids.
• Do not use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have certain medical conditions (consult a doctor if unsure).
• Keep out of reach of children.

4. Getting Started (Setup)

Follow these steps to prepare your device for its first use:

1. Prepare the Skin: Shave the area you intend to treat. Ensure the skin is clean, dry, and free of any lotions, creams, or deodorants.
2. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the device and then into a power outlet. The device will power on automatically or indicate readiness.
3. Wear Protective Eyewear: Always put on the provided protective eyewear before beginning treatment to shield your eyes from the intense light.

5. Operating Instructions

The INIA HAUTE device offers efficient and comfortable hair removal with its advanced features.

5.1 Power On/Off and Intensity Levels

• Power On: The device typically powers on when connected to the power adapter.
• Adjust Intensity: Press the power button briefly to cycle through the 5 intensity levels. Start with the lowest intensity and gradually increase it based on your comfort and skin reaction.
• Power Off: Unplug the device from the power outlet to turn it off.

5.2 Treatment Modes

The device features two primary modes for effective treatment:

• Double-Pulse Mode: This mode emits two pulses within milliseconds, maximizing energy absorption by hair follicles for enhanced effectiveness. This is the default and recommended mode for optimal results.
• Auto-Glide Mode: For faster treatment of larger areas, activate Auto-Glide mode. In this mode, the device will automatically flash when in continuous contact with the skin, allowing for smooth gliding across the treatment area. The device can achieve up to 5 flashes per second in this mode.

5.3 Ultra Sapphire Ice-Cooling Function

The INIA HAUTE device incorporates an advanced ice-cooling feature to maintain a comfortable skin temperature during treatment, typically around 50°F (10°C). This helps minimize discomfort and protect the skin from heat injury.

• The ice-cooling function activates automatically when the device is in use.
• Ensure the treatment window is in full contact with the skin for optimal cooling effect.

5.4 Application Technique

1. Place the treatment window firmly against the skin, ensuring full contact.
2. Press the flash button (or glide in Auto-Glide mode) to deliver a pulse.
3. Move the device to the next adjacent area, ensuring slight overlap to avoid missed spots.
4. Treat each area once per session.

5.5 Treatment Schedule

For optimal results, follow a consistent treatment schedule. Initial results may be visible within 3 weeks, with significant hair reduction over time.
