4. Setup

4.1 Powering the Clock

The clock can be powered in two ways:

  • USB-C Power: Connect the included USB-C cable to the clock and a USB power adapter (not included). The LED display will remain constantly illuminated.
  • Battery Power: Insert 3 AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment. When battery-powered, the display automatically turns off after 10 seconds of inactivity to conserve power. Press any button to reactivate the display.

Recommendation: Use USB-C power for a constant display. Batteries provide a memory function to preserve settings during power outages.

4.2 Initial Time Setting

Refer to the button layout image below for button locations.

  1. Press and hold the "MODE" button to enter time setting mode. The year will start blinking.
  2. Use the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons to adjust the year. Press "MODE" to confirm.
  3. Repeat the process for Month, Day, Hour, and Minutes.
  4. After setting minutes, press "MODE" again. The 12/24H format will blink. Use "UP" to select your preferred format.
  5. Press "MODE" to exit time setting.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Setting the Alarm

The clock offers four alarm modes: Monday-Friday, Monday-Saturday, Monday-Sunday, and Saturday-Sunday.

  1. Press and hold the "ALARM" button. The hour will start blinking.
  2. Use the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons to adjust the alarm hour. Press "ALARM" to confirm.
  3. Repeat for alarm minutes. Press "ALARM" to confirm.
  4. The alarm mode (e.g., 1-5 for Mon-Fri) will blink. Use "UP" and "DOWN" to select your desired alarm mode.
  5. Press "ALARM" to activate the alarm. An alarm icon will appear on the display.

To set a second alarm, repeat the process using the Alarm 2 button (if available, or cycle through alarm settings if only one alarm button is present).

5.2 Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, press the "SNOOZE" button (located on top) to delay the alarm for 9 minutes. Press any other button to cancel the alarm completely.

5.3 Adjustable Brightness & Night Mode

Press the "LIGHT" button (or "DIMMER" button on some models) to cycle through 5 brightness levels: 100%, 60%, 30%, 3%, and Off. In Night Mode, the display automatically dims from 19:00 (7 PM) to 7:00 (7 AM).

5.4 Daylight Saving Time (DST)

After manually enabling daylight saving time, the alarm clock automatically adjusts to daylight saving time. Press the "DST" button to turn DST on or off. Turning it on advances the time by one hour; turning it off reverts the time by one hour.

  • Battery Replacement: If using battery power, replace all 3 AAA batteries simultaneously when the display becomes dim or the memory function fails during power outages.
