5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

  1. Ensure the polisher's power switch is in the OFF position.
  2. Align the battery pack with the battery port on the polisher.
  3. Slide the battery pack into the port until it clicks securely into place.
  4. To remove, press the battery release button and slide the battery pack out.

5.2 Pad Attachment

  1. Ensure the polisher is off and the battery is removed.
  2. Select the appropriate polishing pad for your task (e.g., foam for compounding, wool for finishing).
  3. Align the chosen pad with the hook-and-loop backing plate on the polisher.
  4. Press the pad firmly onto the backing plate to ensure a secure attachment.
  5. To remove, simply peel the pad off the backing plate.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off and Speed Adjustment

  1. With the battery installed, press the power button to turn the polisher ON.
  2. Use the speed adjustment dial/buttons to select the desired RPM. The polisher offers 3 variable speeds:
    • Speed 1 (2000 RPM): Ideal for waxing and light buffing.
    • Speed 2 (4000 RPM): Suitable for general polishing and cleaning.

7. Maintenance
