Please read all instructions carefully before operating your ZAFRO ice maker. Retain this manual for future reference.
- Ensure the voltage matches the rating label on the appliance.
- Do not immerse the power cord, plug, or any part of the appliance in water or other liquids.
- Unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use, before cleaning, and before servicing.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
- Do not use outdoors. This ice maker is for indoor household use only.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
- Keep the appliance away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
- Always place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface.
- Allow at least 4 inches (10 cm) of clearance around the appliance for proper ventilation.
- Use only potable water in the ice maker.

3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging.
- Remove all packaging materials, including any tape or labels.
- Check for any damage during transit. If damaged, do not operate and contact customer support.
3.2 Placement
- Place the ice maker on a flat, stable, and level surface.
- Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit (at least 4 inches/10 cm on all sides).
- Avoid placing the ice maker near heat sources (e.g., ovens, radiators) or in direct sunlight.
- Do not place the unit in an enclosed cabinet.
3.3 Initial Cleaning
Before first use, it is recommended to clean the ice maker.
- Wipe the interior with a soft cloth dampened with warm water and a mild detergent.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Dry all surfaces.
- Run the self-cleaning cycle (see Section 5.1) before making ice for consumption.
3.4 First Use
After initial cleaning, allow the unit to stand upright for at least 1 hour before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Adding Water
- Open the lid of the ice maker.
- Pour potable water into the water reservoir up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
- Close the lid.

4.2 Starting Ice Production
- Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the unit. The Power indicator light will illuminate.
- Press the SELECT button to choose your desired ice cube size: S (Small) or L (Large). The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
- The ice maker will begin the ice-making cycle. The first batch of ice will be ready in approximately 6-10 minutes.

4.3 Ice Full Indicator
When the ice basket is full, the ICE FULL indicator light will illuminate, and the ice-making process will automatically pause. Once ice is removed from the basket, the unit will resume operation.
4.4 Water Shortage Indicator
If the water level in the reservoir is too low, the ADD WATER indicator light will illuminate. Add more water to the reservoir, and the ice maker will resume operation.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Self-Cleaning Function
The ice maker features an automatic self-cleaning function to ensure hygiene.
- Ensure the water reservoir is filled with clean water.
- Press and hold the ON/OFF button for approximately 5 seconds.
- The self-cleaning cycle will begin, circulating water through the system. This cycle typically lasts several minutes.
- Once the cycle is complete, drain the water from the reservoir and wipe the interior dry.

5.2 Regular Cleaning
- Unplug the ice maker before cleaning.
- Remove the ice basket and wash it with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Clean the interior of the water reservoir and ice collection area with a soft cloth and a mild, food-safe detergent.
- Wipe the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and operating the unit.
5.3 Storage
If the ice maker will not be used for an extended period:
- Perform a self-cleaning cycle and drain all water from the reservoir.
- Ensure the interior is completely dry to prevent mold or mildew growth.
- Store the unit in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
6. Troubleshooting
