Setup Instructions

The AGJ Restaurant Pager System is designed for straightforward setup. The system includes a wireless touch keypad transmitter and 20 coaster pagers. The pagers are typically pre-programmed and ready for use upon arrival. The double charging base requires only one power cable, optimizing counter space.

Initial Power-Up and Charging

  5. Pair Pager: Pick up the pager you wish to pair. While holding it, quickly press the 'CALL' button on the transmitter. The pager will flash and beep, and its display will show the newly assigned number.
  6. Confirm: Place the pager back on the charging base. It is now paired with the new number.

Calling a Pager

  1. Ensure the desired pager is off the charging base and has sufficient battery.
  2. On the transmitter keypad, enter the pager's number.
  3. Press the 'CALL' button. The pager will activate according to its set prompt mode.

Adjusting Pager Beep Duration

To change how long a pager beeps/shakes when called:

  1. Disconnect and Reconnect Power: Unplug the power adapter from the charging base, then plug it back in.
  2. Enter Setup Mode: Immediately after reconnecting power, press the '' (back) button and the 'CALL' button simultaneously and quickly. The display will show 'F1'.
  3. Select Beep Time Setting: Press the number '3' on the keypad. The display will show 'F3'. Then, press 'CALL'.
  4. Input Beep Duration: Enter the desired duration in seconds (e.g., '20' for 20 seconds) using the keypad.
  5. Apply to Pager: Pick up the pager you wish to configure. While holding it, quickly press the 'CALL' button on the transmitter. The pager will activate with the new beep duration.

Turning Off Pager Beep

If you prefer the pager to only flash and shake without an audible beep:

  1. Disconnect and Reconnect Power: Unplug the power adapter from the charging base, then plug it back in.
  2. Enter Setup Mode: Immediately after reconnecting power, press the '' (back) button and the 'CALL' button simultaneously and quickly. The display will show 'F1'.
  3. Select Beep Off Setting: Press the number '4' on the keypad. The display will show 'F4'. Then, press 'CALL'.
  4. Apply to Pager: Pick up the pager you wish to configure. While holding it, quickly press the 'CALL' button on the transmitter. The pager will now only flash and shake when called.

Turning Off All Charging Pagers

To turn off all pagers currently on the charging base, simply enter '999' on the transmitter keypad and press 'CALL'.
