4. Setup and Assembly

4.1 Battery Charging

Before first use, fully charge both 21V lithium-ion batteries. Connect the charger to a power outlet and insert the battery. The charging indicator light on the charger will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes 2-3 hours per battery.

4.2 Chain and Guide Bar Installation

Follow these steps to install the saw chain and guide bar. Ensure the battery is removed before performing any assembly.

1. Remove the sprocket cover: Locate the integrated locking knob on the side of the chainsaw and turn it counter-clockwise to loosen and remove the sprocket cover.
2. Assemble the saw chain: Carefully place the saw chain around the guide bar, ensuring the cutting teeth are facing the correct direction (refer to the arrow on the guide bar).
3. Align guide bar and chain: Place the guide bar with the chain onto the chainsaw body, aligning the chain with the sprocket.
4. Align the sprocket cover and tighten: Re-attach the sprocket cover, ensuring it aligns correctly. Turn the integrated locking knob clockwise to secure the guide plate and chain. Tighten until the chain is snug but can still be moved by hand.

4.3 Lubrication System

The chainsaw is equipped with a lubrication oil tank to ensure smooth operation and extend chain life. Fill the tank with appropriate chainsaw bar and chain oil before each use.

• Locate the oil tank cap on the top of the chainsaw body.
• Unscrew the cap and carefully pour chainsaw bar and chain oil into the tank. Do not overfill.
• Replace the cap securely.
• During operation, periodically press the oil pump bulb (located near the oil tank) to manually lubricate the chain.

5.1 Starting the Chainsaw

1. Ensure a fully charged battery is securely inserted into the chainsaw.

4. While holding the safety lock, press the trigger to start the chainsaw. Release the safety lock once the chainsaw is running.

• General Cutting: Position the chainsaw firmly against the material to be cut. Apply steady, even pressure. Allow the chain to do the work.
