5. Operating Instructions

The TRALT Office Chair offers several adjustable features to customize your seating experience for optimal comfort and support.

5.1. Seat Height Adjustment

To adjust the seat height, locate the lever on the right side beneath the seat. While seated, pull the lever up to lower the seat. To raise the seat, stand up slightly and pull the lever up. Release the lever at the desired height.

5.2. Recline Function and Tilt Lock

The chair features a unique recline function allowing you to tilt the backrest between 90° and 120°.

  • To recline, lean back gently. The chair will tilt back.
  • To lock the recline position, push the lever on the left side (often labeled "KNEE LOCK" or similar) downwards.
  • To unlock and allow recline, pull the lever upwards.

To adjust the lumbar support, locate the knob on the side of the backrest. Rotate the knob to extend or retract the lumbar support to your preferred position.

5.4. Armrest Adjustment

The armrests feature a 90° flip-up design, allowing for space-saving and increased freedom of movement.

  • To flip up the armrests, simply lift them upwards until they lock into the vertical position.
  • To lower them, gently pull them down.

The armrests also offer vertical adjustment. Locate the button or lever on the side of the armrest support. Press it and slide the armrest up or down to the desired height, then release to lock.

5.5. Tilt Tension Adjustment

The base knob beneath the seat adjusts the tension of the seat back, controlling how easily the chair reclines.

  • Turn the knob clockwise to increase tension (making it harder to recline).
  • Turn the knob counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to recline).

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance will prolong the life and appearance of your TRALT Office Chair.

  • Cleaning: Wipe mesh and fabric surfaces with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals. For the metal base, use a soft, dry cloth.
  • Casters: Periodically check casters for hair or debris and clean as needed to ensure smooth rolling.
  • Hardware: Every 6 months, check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary.
  • Storage: Store the chair in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your TRALT Office Chair, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:
