Setup

Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided Type-C cable. The built-in 5000mAh rechargeable battery provides up to 16 hours of playback after a 3-hour charge.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

Press and hold the Power button () for 2 seconds to turn the CD player on or off.

Mode Selection

Press the FUNC. button repeatedly to cycle through available modes: CD, Bluetooth, Radio, Cassette, AUX, USB, and SD Card.

CD Mode

1. Press the FUNC. button to select CD mode.
2. Press the STOP/EJ. button to open the CD compartment.
3. Insert a CD with the label side facing up.
4. Close the CD compartment. The player will automatically start reading the CD.
5. Press PLAY/PAUSE () to play or pause the track.
6. Press PREV () or NEXT () to skip tracks. Hold these buttons to fast forward or rewind.
7. Press VOL- or VOL+ to adjust the volume.
8. Press and hold the EQ button to cycle through sound modes: NORMAL, ROCK, POP, JAZZ, CLASS.
9. Press the REP button to select repeat modes: ONE (repeat current track), ALL (repeat all tracks), SFL (shuffle), OFF.
10. Press the PROG button to program playback order.

Cassette Mode

1. Press the FUNC. button to select Cassette mode.
2. Press the STOP/EJ. button to open the cassette compartment.
3. Insert a cassette tape.
4. Press PLAY to start playback.
5. Press and hold F.FWD or F.REW to fast forward or rewind the tape.
6. Press STOP/EJ. to stop playback and eject the cassette.
7. To record, insert a blank cassette, then simultaneously press PLAY and REC. The device can record audio from CD, USB, Bluetooth, AUX, or Radio modes onto the cassette.

Bluetooth Mode

The CD-W16 supports both Bluetooth transmission (sending audio to Bluetooth headphones/speakers) and reception (receiving audio from a smartphone/tablet).

Bluetooth Transmission

1. Press and hold the Bluetooth button () for 2 seconds to activate Bluetooth transmission mode. The display will show "FEAT".
2. Place your Bluetooth receiving device (headphones, speaker) in pairing mode.
3. The CD-W16 will automatically search and connect to nearby Bluetooth devices.

Bluetooth Reception

1. Press the FUNC. button to select Bluetooth mode. The display will show "BLUE".
2. On your mobile phone or other Bluetooth device, search for "CD-W16" in the Bluetooth settings.
3. Select "CD-W16" to connect. Once connected, you can play audio from your device through the CD-W16 speakers.
4. Use the PREV or NEXT buttons on the CD-W16 to change tracks on the connected device.

FM Radio Mode

1. Press the FUNC. button to select FM Radio mode.
2. Extend the telescopic antenna for better reception.
3. Press and hold the SCAN button to start automatic station scanning and preset storage. The player can store up to 30 stations.
4. Press PREV or NEXT to manually tune the frequency.
5. To recall a preset station, press the PROG button, then use PREV or NEXT to select the preset number. Press PROG again to confirm.

USB & SD Card Playback

1. Press the FUNC. button to select USB or SD Card mode.
2. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or an SD card into the SD card slot. The device supports MP3 format up to 32GB.
3. Playback will begin automatically. Use the PLAY/PAUSE, PREV, and NEXT buttons for control.

AUX Input Mode

1. Press the FUNC. button to select AUX mode.
2. Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the AUX-IN port using a 3.5mm audio cable.
3. Play audio from your external device. The sound will be output through the CD-W16 speakers.

Sleep Timer

The sleep timer allows you to set a specific time (10-120 minutes) after which the boombox will automatically turn off, conserving battery life.

1. Press the SLEEP button on the remote control to activate the sleep timer.
2. Repeatedly press the SLEEP button to cycle through the preset sleep times (e.g., 10, 20, 30, ..., 120 minutes).
3. The selected time will be displayed. The device will power off automatically after the set duration.

Remote Control Operation

The included remote control provides convenient access to all major functions of the CD-W16.

• Power Button: Short press to turn the unit on/off.
• FUNC Button: Short press to switch between CD, Bluetooth, Radio, Cassette, AUX, USB, and SD Card modes.
• Play/Pause, PREV, NEXT Buttons: Control playback, skip tracks, fast forward/rewind.
• VOL+/- Buttons: Adjust volume.
• EQ Button: Short press to cycle through sound modes (NORMAL, ROCK, POP, JAZZ, CLASS).
• REP Button: Short press to select repeat modes (ONE, ALL, SFL, OFF).
• Number Buttons (0-9): Directly jump to specific tracks in CD/USB/SD modes.
• Bluetooth Button: Short press for quick Bluetooth connection, long press for Bluetooth transmission.
• SLEEP Button: Set the sleep timer.

Maintenance

• Clean the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Keep the CD and cassette compartments free from dust and debris.
• Avoid exposing the unit to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
• When not in use for extended periods, fully charge the battery and store the unit in a cool, dry place.
