Please read these instructions carefully to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your watch.

2. Setup
2.1 Initial Winding
Your OLEVS automatic watch is powered by an imported mechanical movement that self-winds with wrist motion. For initial use or after the watch has stopped, it requires manual winding to build up a power reserve.
- Ensure the crown is in position 1 (fully pushed in).
- Rotate the crown clockwise approximately 30-40 times. This will initiate the movement and build a sufficient power reserve.
- The watch has an energy reserve of up to 45 hours when fully wound. Regular wear will keep the watch wound.
2.2 Setting the Time
- Pull the crown out to position 3 (farthest out). The second hand will stop.
- Rotate the crown to move the hour and minute hands clockwise until the desired time is set. When setting the time, ensure the AM/PM cycle is correctly observed, especially when setting the date.
- Push the crown back to position 1 (fully in) to restart the watch.
2.3 Setting the Date and Day
The watch features a calendar window for the date and a sub-dial for the day of the week.
- Pull the crown out to position 2 (middle position).
- Rotate the crown clockwise to adjust the date in the calendar window.
- Rotate the crown counter-clockwise to adjust the day of the week on the sub-dial.
- Avoid setting the date or day between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM, as this is when the watch's internal mechanism is engaged in changing the date, and manual adjustment can cause damage. If adjustment is needed during this period, first set the time outside this window, adjust the date/day, then reset the time.
- Once the date and day are set, push the crown back to position 1.

3. Operating Your Watch
3.1 Automatic Movement
Your OLEVS watch is equipped with an automatic mechanical movement. This means it is powered by the natural motion of your wrist. When worn regularly, the rotor inside the watch winds the mainspring, eliminating the need for a battery. If the watch is not worn for an extended period (beyond its 45-hour power reserve), it will stop and require manual winding as described in Section 2.1.
3.2 Luminous Function
The watch hands and hour markers are treated with a luminous material, allowing you to read the time in low-light conditions. Exposure to light (natural or artificial) charges this material, causing it to glow in the dark.
3.3 Water Resistance
This watch is rated for 3ATM (30 meters) water resistance. This means it is suitable for daily use and can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water, such as washing hands or taking a cold shower. It is not suitable for swimming, diving, hot showers, or saunas. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
To maintain the appearance of your watch, wipe the case and strap regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stainless steel parts, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid using chemical cleaners or abrasive materials.
4.2 Strap Adjustment
The stainless steel strap can be adjusted for a comfortable fit. A strap adjustment tool is provided with your watch. If you require assistance or additional links, please contact customer support.
4.3 General Care
- Avoid Shocks: Mechanical watches are delicate. Avoid dropping the watch or subjecting it to strong impacts.
- Magnetic Fields: Keep the watch away from strong magnetic fields (e.g., speakers, refrigerators, mobile phones, airport security scanners), as these can affect the accuracy of the mechanical movement.
- Temperature Extremes: Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, as this can impact its performance and materials.
- Chemicals: Do not expose the watch to solvents, detergents, perfumes, or cosmetics, as these can damage the case, strap, or seals.
5. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Watch has stopped or runs intermittently. | Insufficient power reserve. | Manually wind the watch by rotating the crown clockwise 30-40 times (Section 2.1). Wear the watch regularly to keep it wound. |
| Time is inaccurate. | Exposure to magnetic fields; watch needs regulation; low power reserve. | Demagnetize the watch (seek professional service); ensure sufficient winding; if problem persists, contact support. |
| Date or day does not change. | Incorrect setting time; mechanism damage. | Ensure time is set correctly, avoiding 9 PM - 3 AM for date/day adjustment. If mechanism is damaged, contact support. |
| Condensation under the crystal. | Water ingress; sudden temperature change. | Immediately seek professional service to prevent damage. Avoid extreme temperature changes. |
