Your Roinside Electric Scooter requires minimal assembly out of the box. Please follow these steps carefully to ensure proper setup:

  1. Unboxing: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts listed in the packing list are present.
  2. Handlebar Installation: Attach the handlebar to the main stem. Align the handlebar with the stem and secure it using the provided screws and hex key. Ensure all screws are tightened firmly to prevent wobbling during operation.
  3. Initial Charge: Before first use, fully charge the scooter's battery. Connect the charger to the charging port located on the scooter's deck and plug it into a standard wall outlet. The charging indicator on the display will show progress. A full charge typically takes approximately 5 hours.
  4. Folding Mechanism Check: Familiarize yourself with the scooter's folding mechanism. This allows for easy portability and storage. Ensure the safety clasp is securely engaged when the scooter is unfolded for riding, and properly disengaged when folding.

  • Acceleration: Use the thumb throttle on the right handlebar to accelerate. Gradually press down to increase speed.
  • Braking: The scooter features a dual braking system (electronic and disc brakes). Pull the brake lever on the left handlebar to engage the brakes. The rear taillight will blink when braking, enhancing visibility.

4. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Roinside Electric Scooter:

  • Cleaning: Wipe down the scooter regularly with a damp cloth. Avoid using high-pressure water jets or harsh chemicals, which can damage electronic components.
  • Tires: The scooter is equipped with 8.5-inch solid rubber tires, which are puncture-proof and require no inflation or pressure checks. Inspect them periodically for excessive wear or damage.
  • Brakes: Check the brake system regularly for proper function. Ensure the brake lever provides firm and responsive stopping power. If the brakes feel loose or unresponsive, they may need adjustment by a qualified technician.
  • Battery Care: To maximize battery life, avoid completely draining the battery before recharging. Store the scooter in a cool, dry place when not in use, and charge it at least once every three months if stored for extended periods.
  • Folding Mechanism: Keep the folding mechanism clean and free of debris. Lubricate moving parts if necessary to ensure smooth operation.
