1. Setup

1.1 What's in the Box

1.2 Physical Installation

The WUUK Security Camera offers flexible installation options for both indoor and outdoor use, primarily utilizing a magnetic mount system.

• Magnetic Mounting: The camera comes with a magnetic base and a metallic plate. You can attach the metallic plate to a desired surface using the provided 3M sticker or mounting screws, then simply attach the camera magnetically. This allows for easy adjustment of the camera's angle.
• Surface Placement: The camera can also be placed directly on any flat surface, such as a desk or shelf, without needing to use the magnetic base.
• Cable Management: Use the included small nails to secure the power cable along walls or surfaces for a neat installation.

1.3 Powering On

The WUUK Security Camera is a wired device and requires a constant power supply.

• Connect the provided Type-C USB Cable to the camera's port.
• Plug the USB Power Adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
• The camera will power on automatically.

1.4 App Setup & Connectivity

To set up and manage your camera, download the WUUK app on your smartphone.

• Download the WUUK app from your device's app store (compatible with Android 5.1+ and iOS 12.0+).
• Create an account or log in.
• Follow the in-app instructions to add your new camera. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network, as the camera only supports this frequency.
• The app will guide you through the pairing process, which may involve scanning a QR code displayed on your phone with the camera.

4. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your WUUK Security Camera, try the following:

• No Power: Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the camera and the power adapter, and that the adapter is plugged into a working outlet.
• Offline Status: Check your 2.4 GHz WiFi network connection. Ensure the camera is within range of your router. Restart your router and the camera.
• Poor Video Quality: Verify your WiFi signal strength. If streaming quality is low, try adjusting the quality settings in the app from HD to SD if your network is slow.
• Motion Detection Issues: Check the detection zone settings in the app. Adjust sensitivity levels as needed. Ensure human detection is enabled if desired.
• SD Card Not Recording: Ensure the Micro SD card is properly inserted and formatted within the app. Check if the card has sufficient free space.
• App Not Responding: Close and reopen the WUUK app. If the issue persists, restart your smartphone.
