1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the VBGK Induction Cooktop. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your new appliance. Please read it thoroughly before use and keep it for future reference.

This 1800W single burner induction cooktop features a large LCD sensor touch control panel, 9 temperature levels, a child safety lock, and a 4-hour timer, designed to meet various cooking needs with high energy efficiency.

2. Important Safety Instructions

To prevent injury or damage, always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances, including the following:

  • Read all instructions before operating the appliance.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  • To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the appliance in water or other liquid.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
  • The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
  • Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
  • Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
  • Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
  • Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
  • Ensure proper ventilation around the cooktop during operation.
  • Only use magnetic induction cookware. Non-magnetic cookware will not work.
  • The cooktop is equipped with overheat protection and a child safety lock for enhanced safety.

4. Product Overview

The VBGK Induction Cooktop features a sleek black crystal glass plate and an intuitive LCD sensor touch control panel. The control panel allows for easy adjustment of settings and monitoring of cooking status.

5. Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the cooktop and all packaging materials.
  2. Placement: Place the cooktop on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit, especially for the bottom cooling fan. Do not block the air vents.
  3. Power Connection: Plug the cooktop into a standard 110-120V, 15 amp electrical outlet.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Cookware Compatibility

The VBGK Induction Cooktop works exclusively with magnetic induction cookware. Compatible cookware includes:

  • Cast iron
  • Iron
  • Steel
  • Enameled iron cookware
  • Magnetic-bottom stainless steel

The diameter of compatible cookware should be between 8 cm (3.15 inches) and 22 cm (8.66 inches). Non-magnetic materials such as copper, ceramic, or glass cookware are not compatible.

6.2. Basic Operation

  1. Place Cookware: Center your compatible cookware on the alignment circle on the cooktop surface.
  2. Power On: Press the "ON/OFF" button to turn on the cooktop.
  3. Select Mode: Use the "Function" button to cycle through different cooking modes (e.g., Hot Pot, Fry, BBQ, etc.).
  4. Adjust Power/Temperature: Use the "Up" (+) and "Down" (-) buttons to adjust the power level (200W to 1800W) or temperature (176°F to 518°F / 80°C to 270°C) according to your cooking needs.
  5. Booster Function: Press the "Booster" button for maximum power (1800W) for rapid heating, such as boiling water quickly.
  6. Set Timer: Press the "Timer/Booking" button to activate the timer. Use the "Up" (+) and "Down" (-) buttons to set the desired cooking time, up to 240 minutes. The cooktop will automatically shut off when the timer expires.
  7. Heat Preservation: Use the "Heat Preservation" function to keep food warm after cooking.
  8. Power Off: Press the "ON/OFF" button again to turn off the cooktop when finished.

6.3. Child Safety Lock

To activate the child safety lock, press the "Lock" button. This will prevent accidental operation of the control panel. To deactivate, press and hold the "Lock" button again until the lock indicator disappears.

6.4. Operational Demonstration

7. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your induction cooktop.

  1. Before Cleaning: Always unplug the cooktop from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Cooktop Surface: Wipe the black crystal glass plate with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for glass cooktops. Do not use abrasive pads, harsh chemicals, or iron scrapers, as these can scratch or damage the surface.
  3. Control Panel: Wipe the control panel gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not allow water or liquids to enter the control area.
  4. Vents: Ensure the bottom cooling fan and vents are free from dust and debris to maintain proper heat dissipation. Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to gently clear any blockages.
  5. Storage: When not in use, store the cooktop in a dry, safe place away from direct sunlight and moisture.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your VBGK Induction Cooktop, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
