Setup
1. Unpacking and Component Check
Before beginning setup, ensure all components are present:
- Main Base Unit with power adapter
- Two Handsets
- Two Charging Cradles with power adapters
- Two NiMH rechargeable battery packs
- Telephone line cord
2. Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of each handset.
- Connect the battery pack plug into the jack inside the compartment.
- Place the battery pack into the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover.
3. Connecting the Base Unit and Charging Cradles
- Plug the small end of the main base unit's power adapter into the power jack on the back of the base unit.
- Plug the large end of the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
- Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the TEL LINE jack on the base unit.
- Connect the other end of the telephone line cord to a telephone wall jack.
- For each charging cradle, plug its power adapter into an electrical outlet.
4. Initial Battery Charge
Place each handset in its respective charging cradle or the main base unit. Allow the handsets to charge for at least 16 hours before initial use to ensure optimal battery performance.

Operating Instructions
Making and Receiving Calls
- To Make a Call: Press TALK/FLASH or any dialing key, then dial the phone number.
- To Answer a Call: When the phone rings, press TALK/FLASH or any dialing key.
- To End a Call: Press OFF/CLEAR or place the handset back in the charging cradle/base.
Call Blocker Feature
The ES2001 allows you to block unwanted calls. You can block up to 100 numbers. When a blocked number calls, the phone will not ring, providing uninterrupted peace.
- To Block a Number: During a call or from the Caller ID log, press the CALL BLOCK button (often represented by a shield icon) and follow the on-screen prompts.
- To Review/Edit Blocked List: Access the menu and navigate to the Call Blocker settings.
