2. Setup
2.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge your BOOX Palma using the provided USB-C cable and a compatible power adapter. The device features a Lithium Ion battery.

3.1 Reading Experience
The 6.13-inch E Ink Carta 1200 display with 300 PPI resolution provides a comfortable, paper-like reading experience, reducing eye fatigue. You can access your Kindle books, Libby loans, and other e-content directly on the device.

3.2 Audio Features
Utilize the device's audio capabilities to listen to music or podcasts via applications like Spotify and Audible. Connect Bluetooth headphones or use the integrated speaker.

The BOOX Palma features a water-repellent construction, offering protection against moderate water exposure like splashes and spills. However, it is not fully waterproof and should not be submerged in water.

5.1 Common Issues and Solutions
- Device not turning on: Ensure the device is fully charged. Press and hold the power button for at least 10 seconds to perform a forced restart.
- Screen ghosting: The BOOX Super Refresh Technology is designed to reduce ghosting. If ghosting persists, perform a full screen refresh using the customizable function button or through device settings.
- Wi-Fi connectivity issues: Check your Wi-Fi router and ensure the device is within range. Try forgetting the network and reconnecting.
