3. Setup Instructions
3.1 Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the main display unit.
- Insert 3 AAA batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings.
- Close the battery compartment.
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the wireless remote sensor.
- Insert 2 AA batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings.
- Close the battery compartment.
3.2 Sensor Pairing
The main unit and remote sensor should automatically pair once batteries are installed. If pairing does not occur, ensure the sensor is set to the desired channel (1, 2, or 3) before inserting batteries. Place the main unit and sensor close to each other for 2-3 minutes during initial connection.

3.3 Remote Sensor Placement
For optimal performance and accurate readings, consider the following guidelines for placing your remote sensor:
- Place the sensor 1.2 to 2.4 meters (4 to 8 feet) above the ground.
- Ensure the sensor is in a permanently shaded area, away from direct sunlight.
- Keep the sensor 1.5 to 2 meters (5 to 6.5 feet) away from electronic devices (TV, computer, microwave, radio, etc.) to avoid interference.
- Avoid placing the sensor near heat sources or vents.
- Mount the outdoor sensor vertically. Do not place it horizontally or directly on the ground.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Display Overview
The main unit's large LCD screen displays the following information:
- Current time and date.
- Outdoor temperature and humidity.
- Indoor temperature and humidity.
- Temperature and humidity trend arrows.
- Max/Min records for 24 hours.
4.2 Temperature Unit Selection (°C/°F)
Press the UP button on the main unit to switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) temperature units.
4.3 Backlight Function
Press the SNZ/LIGHT button on the top of the main unit to activate the backlight. The backlight will illuminate for 10 seconds and then automatically turn off to conserve battery power.

4.4 Max/Min Records
The device automatically records the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity readings over a 24-hour period. These records can be viewed by pressing the MEM button. To clear the records, long-press the MEM button.
4.5 Channel Cycling
If you have multiple remote sensors, press the CH button on the main unit to cycle through the readings from each connected sensor (Channel 1, Channel 2, Channel 3).

- Avoid exposing the main unit to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or moisture.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Sensor Malfunction After Battery Installation
If the outdoor sensor's red light does not flash after installing new batteries, or if the main unit does not receive data:
- Ensure you are using brand new batteries. Do not mix new and old batteries.
- Verify that the batteries are inserted with correct polarity.
- Check the channel selection on the remote sensor.
- Bring the main unit and sensor closer together to re-establish connection.
- If the issue persists, contact customer support for further assistance.
