4. Setup and Connectivity

The Galaxy80 keyboard supports three connection modes: USB-C wired, 2.4GHz wireless, and Bluetooth 5.0.

4.1. USB-C Wired Connection

  1. Ensure the power switch on the keyboard is in the OFF position.
  2. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the keyboard's USB-C port.
  3. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to an available USB port on your computer.
  4. The keyboard will be recognized automatically by your operating system.

4.2. 2.4GHz Wireless Connection

  1. Locate the 2.4GHz USB receiver, which is typically stored in a compartment on the keyboard body (often under the "shooting star" emblem).
  2. Plug the 2.4GHz USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Turn the power switch on the keyboard to the ON position.
  4. Press Fn + R to activate 2.4GHz wireless mode. The keyboard should connect automatically.

4.3. Bluetooth 5.0 Connection

  1. Turn the power switch on the keyboard to the ON position.
  2. Press and hold Fn + Q, Fn + W, or Fn + E for 3-5 seconds to enter Bluetooth pairing mode for one of the three available profiles. The indicator light for the selected profile will flash rapidly.
  3. On your device (PC, laptop, tablet, phone), enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
  4. Select "Galaxy80" from the list of available devices to pair.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Basic Functions

  • Power On/Off: Use the physical switch located on the keyboard.

6. Maintenance

  3. Pull the switch straight up to remove it from the PCB.
  4. Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB. Ensure the pins are straight to avoid bending.
  5. Gently press the new switch into place until it clicks securely.
  6. Replace the keycap.

7. Troubleshooting
