Operating Instructions
Your SHARP Airest air conditioner is designed for efficient heating and cooling. Refer to the remote control manual (sold separately or included in packaging) for detailed button functions and mode selections.
Basic Operation
- Cooling Mode: Use for cooling your room. The unit has a cooling capacity of 4.0kW (min 0.8kW ~ max 4.4kW) and consumes 1240W (min 180W ~ max 1550W).
- Heating Mode: Use for heating your room. The unit has a heating capacity of 5.0kW (min 0.8kW ~ max 6.4kW) and consumes 1480W (min 150W ~ max 2000W). At an outdoor temperature of 2°C, the heating capacity is 4.8kW.
- Temperature Control: Adjust the desired temperature using the remote control. The unit is designed to maintain the set temperature with high precision (e.g., 26°C setting results in approximately 26°C ±0.3°C room temperature).
- Airflow Direction: Adjust the louver direction for optimal comfort. In cooling mode, air is discharged from above, which may make you feel colder than the set temperature if you are directly in the airflow.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your air conditioner. Always turn off the power supply before performing any maintenance.
Filter Cleaning
- Clean the air filters regularly (e.g., every two weeks or as needed) to maintain airflow and efficiency.
- Refer to the detailed instructions in the remote control manual for how to remove and clean the filters.
- Ensure no protective films or packaging materials are left on the filters or inside the unit after installation or cleaning, as this can impede airflow and performance.
Exterior Cleaning
- Wipe the exterior of the indoor and outdoor units with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use harsh detergents, abrasive cleaners, or solvents.
