Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your air conditioner, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips before contacting service.

ProblemPossible Cause / Solution
Weak Airflow or Insufficient Cooling/Heating
  • Clogged Air Filter: Clean the air filters.
  • Protective Film on Filter: IMPORTANT: Check if any protective film or packaging material is still attached to the air filter or inside the unit. Remove any such film. A user reported significantly improved performance after removing a film from the filter.
  • Incorrect Mode Setting: Ensure the unit is set to the correct mode (Cooling/Heating).
  • Temperature Setting: Verify the set temperature is appropriate for the desired room condition.
  • Room Size Mismatch: The unit is rated for 14 tatami mats. If used in a larger space, performance may be reduced. Consider using it in a smaller room (e.g., 8 tatami mats) for optimal performance if your current room is at the upper limit of its capacity.
Unit Not Turning On
  • Power Supply: Check if the power plug is securely inserted and the circuit breaker has not tripped.
  • Remote Control Batteries: Replace batteries in the remote control.
Unusual Noises
  • Loose Parts: Ensure all covers and panels are securely closed.
  • Obstructions: Check for any foreign objects near the fan or air vents.

If the problem persists after attempting these solutions, please contact the installation partner company or XPRICE support for assistance.
