Strip the insulation from the ends of the conductors to the recommended length for screw terminals. Consider using wire ferrules for optimal connection, especially with 1.5 mm² rubber hose lines (H07RN-F 3G1.5).
- Disassemble the Connector: Unscrew the cable gland nut and remove the sealing components from the main connector body.
- Thread the Cable: Pass the prepared cable through the cable gland nut and the sealing components in the correct order.
- Connect Wires: Insert the stripped ends of the conductors into the designated screw terminals of the connector insert. Ensure correct polarity (Line, Neutral, Ground). The terminal markings are clear. Tighten the small clamping screws carefully to secure the wires.
- Assemble the Connector: Position the sealing gasket correctly around the connector insert. Insert the wired connector insert into the main connector body.

- Connect to Micro-inverter: Align the assembled field connector with the AC port of your Hoymiles HMS series micro-inverter. Push firmly until it clicks into place, ensuring a secure and tight connection.
Note: The connector is designed for a tight fit to ensure its IP68 rating. Do not force it if misaligned.
