2. Safety Instructions
- Power Supply: Use only the specified power adapter. Ensure the voltage matches the requirements of the piano. Disconnect the power cord during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.
- Moisture and Heat: Do not expose the piano to rain, moisture, or excessive heat sources (e.g., radiators, direct sunlight). Avoid placing objects filled with liquids on the piano.
- Ventilation: Ensure proper ventilation around the instrument. Do not block ventilation openings.
- Cleaning: Clean the piano only with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.

3. Package Contents

4. Assembly
The furniture stand requires assembly before the piano can be placed on it. It is recommended to have two people for the assembly process to ensure stability and prevent damage.
4.1 Stand Assembly
- Identify the two large side panels and the two support panels (one large, one small).
- Align the support panels with the pre-drilled holes on the inside of the side panels. Ensure the metal brackets on the support panels are facing upwards and inwards.
- Secure the support panels to the side panels using the 8 long metal screws provided. Use a screwdriver to tighten them firmly.
- Once the stand frame is rigid, carefully place it in your desired location.
4.2 Piano Placement
- Carefully lift the STRICH SDP-120S keyboard and align it with the top of the assembled furniture stand.
- Ensure the piano is centered and stable on the stand.
- Locate the four hand-screws. Insert these through the designated holes on the stand into the corresponding threaded inserts on the underside of the piano. Tighten them by hand until secure.

5. Connections
The SDP-120S offers various ports for extended functionality and connectivity with external devices.

- Power Input: Connect the provided power adapter here.
- On/Off Button: Press to power the instrument on or off.
- USB Interface (Type B): Connect to a computer for MIDI data transfer (USB-MIDI).
- MIDI Output (5-pin DIN): Connect to external MIDI devices.
- Headphone Output (3.5mm & 6.35mm Jacks): Connect headphones for silent practice.
- Audio Input: Connect external audio sources (e.g., MP3 player, phone) to play along.

5.1 Wireless Connectivity (Bluetooth MIDI)
The SDP-120S supports wireless MIDI connectivity, allowing you to connect to compatible music applications on your smartphone or tablet without cables.
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smart device.
- Power on the SDP-120S.
- Open your music application and navigate to its MIDI or Bluetooth settings.
- Select "STRICH SDP-120S" from the list of available devices to establish a connection.

6. Basic Operation
6.1 Power On/Off
Press the On/Off button located on the rear panel to power the piano on. The LCD display will illuminate. Press the button again to power off.
6.2 Volume Control
Use the Volume buttons or knob on the control panel to adjust the overall output volume of the piano.
6.3 Tone Selection
The SDP-120S features 900 tones. To select a tone:
- Press the Tone button.
- Use the number pad or +/- buttons to enter the desired tone number.
- The selected tone will be displayed on the LCD screen.

6.4 Rhythm Selection
The piano includes 700 rhythms. To select a rhythm:
- Press the Rhythm button.
- Use the number pad or +/- buttons to enter the desired rhythm number.
- Press Start/Stop to begin or end the rhythm.
- Adjust the rhythm tempo using the Tempo buttons.
7. Advanced Features
7.1 Polyphony and Sound Engine
The SDP-120S offers 256 max polyphony, allowing for complex musical passages without note drop-out. Its sound engine provides rich acoustics through dual 15W speakers.

7.2 Weighted Keys and Touch Response

7.3 Demo Songs
The piano includes 110 demo songs. To play a demo song:
- Press the Demo button.
- Use the +/- buttons to select a demo song.
- The song will begin playing automatically. Press Demo again to stop.
8. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the surface of the piano with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water and wipe gently, then dry immediately. Do not use chemical cleaners.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, disconnect the power adapter. Store the piano in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
- Key Care: Avoid pressing the keys with excessive force or striking them with hard objects. Keep the keys clean to maintain their responsiveness.
