Setup

Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert the 3 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press the 'POWER/ZERO' button. The display will show '0' or '0.0'.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the 'POWER/ZERO' button for a few seconds until the display turns off. The scale also features an automatic shut-off after 2 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.

Unit Conversion

To change the unit of measurement (g, oz, lb, mL), press the 'UNIT' button. The display will cycle through the available units. Select the desired unit before or during weighing.

Tare Function

The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container or previous ingredients, enabling you to measure multiple ingredients in the same bowl.

  1. Place an empty bowl or container on the scale. The display will show its weight.
  2. Press the 'POWER/ZERO' button. The display will reset to '0' or '0.0', and a 'T' symbol (Tare) may appear, indicating the tare function is active.
  3. Add your ingredients into the container. The scale will display only the weight of the added ingredients.
  4. Repeat the process for additional ingredients if needed.
  5. To clear the tare function, remove all items from the scale and press 'POWER/ZERO' again, or simply turn off the scale.
