This device is designed to detect water leaks and send real-time notifications to your smartphone via the Tuya or Smart Life application, helping to prevent potential water damage in your home or office.

Setup Guide
1. Install the Tuya/Smart Life App
- Download the "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" app from your smartphone's app store (Google Play Store for Android, Apple App Store for iOS).
- Register for a new account or log in if you already have one.
2. Insert Batteries
Locate the battery compartment on the sensor unit. Insert the required batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings. Ensure the sensor powers on (an indicator light may flash).
3. Pair the Device with the App
- Open the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app.
- Tap the "+" icon in the top right corner to add a device.
- Select "Security & Video Surveillance" or "Sensors" and then choose "Water Leak Detector" or a similar option.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to put the device into pairing mode (this usually involves pressing and holding a button on the sensor until an indicator light flashes rapidly).
- Enter your 2.4GHz WiFi network name and password. The device does not support 5GHz WiFi.
- Wait for the app to discover and connect to the device. Once connected, you can rename the device and assign it to a specific room.

4. Device Placement
Place the water immersion sensor in areas prone to water leaks, such as:
- Under sinks in kitchens and bathrooms.
- Near water heaters.
- Next to washing machines or dishwashers.
- In basements or utility rooms.
- Anywhere water pipes or appliances might leak.

Operating Instructions
Water Leak Detection and Alarm
When the sensor detects water, it will immediately trigger an alarm. The device connects to your home WiFi network and sends an instant notification to your smartphone via the Tuya/Smart Life app. This allows you to be alerted to potential leaks even when you are away from home.

App Remote Control
Through the Tuya/Smart Life app, you can:
- Monitor the real-time status of your water leak detectors.
- Receive alarm notifications.
- View alarm history.

Scheduled Defense

Battery Replacement

Troubleshooting
- Device not connecting to WiFi:
- Ensure your WiFi network is 2.4GHz. The device does not support 5GHz networks.
- Check that the WiFi password entered in the app is correct.
- Make sure the device is within range of your WiFi router.
- Restart your router and try pairing again.
- No alarm notification:
- Verify that the device is properly connected to the app and shows an online status.
- Check your phone's notification settings to ensure the Tuya/Smart Life app has permission to send notifications.
- Ensure the sensor is placed correctly and the water contacts are clean.
- Check battery level.
- False alarms:
- Ensure the sensor is not placed in an area where it might accidentally come into contact with moisture (e.g., condensation, splashes).
- Clean the sensor contacts to remove any residue that might be causing false readings.
