1. Important Safety Information

• Do not short-circuit the jump starter clamps. Ensure correct polarity connection to the vehicle battery.
• Do not jump start a frozen battery. Allow the battery to thaw before attempting to jump start.

• Disconnect the clamps from the vehicle battery within 30 seconds after the vehicle starts.

2. Product Overview

The IDEAPLAY J10 is a portable jump starter designed to provide emergency power for various 12V vehicles. It also functions as a power bank for electronic devices and includes an LED flashlight.

2.2 Product Diagram

3. Charging the Jump Starter

Before initial use, fully charge the IDEAPLAY J10. It is recommended to recharge the unit every 3-6 months to maintain optimal battery health.

1. Connect the supplied USB-C charging cable to the USB-C IN/OUT port on the jump starter.
2. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a compatible USB wall adapter (not included) or car charger.
3. The digital display will show the charging progress. The unit is fully charged when the display shows 100%.

4. Operating Instructions: Jump Starting a Vehicle

The IDEAPLAY J10 is capable of jump starting 12V vehicles with up to 8.0L gas or 7.0L diesel engines. The smart clamps provide multiple protections, including reverse polarity and short-circuit protection.

1. Ensure the jump starter is sufficiently charged. A minimum of 50% charge is recommended for optimal performance.
2. Connect the Smart Jumper Cables to the Jump Starter: Insert the blue plug of the smart clamps into the jump start port on the IDEAPLAY J10. Ensure a secure connection. The indicator light on the smart clamps will flash red and green.
3. Connect the Clamps to the Vehicle Battery:
   • Attach the red positive (+) clamp to the vehicle battery's positive (+) terminal.
   • Attach the black negative (-) clamp to the vehicle battery's negative (-) terminal.

   Once connected correctly, the indicator light on the smart clamps will turn solid green, indicating it is safe to proceed.

4. Start the Vehicle: Enter the vehicle and start the engine.
5. Remove Clamps: Once the vehicle starts, immediately remove the smart clamps from the vehicle battery within 30 seconds. First, remove the black negative (-) clamp, then the red positive (+) clamp.
6. Disconnect from Jump Starter: Disconnect the smart clamps from the jump starter unit.

5. Using as a Power Bank

The IDEAPLAY J10 can charge various electronic devices via its USB output ports.

• USB-A Outputs (18W): Connect your device's USB charging cable to either of the USB-A output ports.
• USB-C IN/OUT (PD 30W Max): This port can also be used to charge compatible devices that support USB Power Delivery (PD).

Press the power button once to activate the USB output and begin charging your devices. The digital display will show the remaining battery percentage.

6. LED Flashlight Functions

The built-in LED flashlight offers multiple modes for various situations.

1. To turn on the flashlight: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.
2. To cycle through modes: Once the flashlight is on, press the power button briefly to switch between: Continuous Light → SOS Strobe → Continuous Flash.
3. To turn off the flashlight: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.

7. Maintenance and Storage

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and reliability of your IDEAPLAY J10 Jump Starter.

• Recharge Regularly: Recharge the unit at least once every 3-6 months to prevent deep discharge and prolong battery life.

• Storage: Store the jump starter in its protective case in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and flammable materials.
• Temperature: Avoid storing or operating the unit outside its recommended temperature range of -4°F to 131°F (-20°C to 55°C).
