1. Introduction

2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking and Contents

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all items are present:

• AC Adapter
• Power Cord

2.2 Connecting Power

1. Connect the AC adapter to the power input port on the scanner.
2. Connect the power cord to the AC adapter.
3. Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.

2.3 Connecting to a Computer

1. Connect one end of the USB cable to the USB port on the scanner.
2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer.

2.4 Driver Installation

3.1 Powering On/Off

3.4 Understanding Indicator Lights

The scanner features indicator lights to communicate its status:

• Power Indicator: Illuminates when the scanner is powered on.

• Document Indicator: Illuminates when a document is detected in the input slot or during scanning.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning the Scanner

1. Open the scanner covers to access the internal components.
2. Using a soft, lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner, gently wipe the rollers and glass surfaces.
3. Allow all components to dry completely before closing the covers and reconnecting power.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Scanner Not Powering On
