Setup Guide
Connecting the Docking Station
- Connect the integrated USB-C cable from the docking station to your laptop's USB-C port. Ensure your laptop's USB-C port supports video output (DisplayPort Alt Mode) and power delivery for full functionality.
- For power delivery, connect your laptop's USB-C power adapter to the 100W PD charging port on the docking station. The docking station will reserve approximately 18W for its operation, providing up to 82W for laptop charging.
Display Setup
The docking station supports multiple external displays via its HDMI and DisplayPort outputs.
- For Windows Systems (with DP1.4 Source): This docking station supports Multi-Stream Transport (MST), allowing for extended display modes across multiple monitors.
- Connect your monitors using HDMI cables to the 4K HDMI ports (up to 4K@60Hz) and/or a DisplayPort cable to the DisplayPort (up to 4K@60Hz).
- For macOS Systems: macOS supports extended mode for only one external monitor (4K@30Hz) due to system limitations regarding MST. Other monitors will mirror the primary display.

Troubleshooting
Display Issues
- No Display/Flickering: Ensure your laptop's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode. Try reconnecting the docking station and display cables. Update your laptop's graphics drivers.
- Incorrect Resolution/Refresh Rate: Check your display settings on your operating system. Ensure your cables and monitors support the desired resolution and refresh rate (e.g., 4K@60Hz).
- macOS Extended Mode Limitation: Remember that macOS only supports extended mode for one external monitor. If you connect multiple monitors, others will mirror.
Connectivity Issues
- Slow Data Transfer: Ensure you are using USB 3.1 compatible devices and cables for optimal speeds. Some devices may default to lower USB 2.0 speeds.
- Ethernet Not Working: Verify that the Ethernet cable is securely connected to both the docking station and your router/modem. Check your network settings on your laptop.
- Peripherals Not Recognized: Try connecting the peripheral to a different USB port on the docking station. Ensure the peripheral's drivers are up to date.
Power Delivery Issues
- Laptop Not Charging: Ensure your laptop's original USB-C power adapter is connected to the PD port on the docking station. Verify the power adapter's wattage is sufficient for your laptop's needs.
