Introduction

The AULA F87 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard is a 75% TKL layout keyboard designed for versatility, comfort, and durability. It features tri-mode connectivity, hot-swappable switches, advanced gasket structure, and customizable RGB lighting, making it suitable for various uses including gaming, work, and everyday tasks.

Upon unboxing your AULA F87 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard, you should find the following items:

Setup: Connection Modes

The AULA F87 keyboard supports three distinct connection modes: Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4GHz wireless, and USB-C wired. This allows for flexible connectivity across various devices.

Switching Connection Modes

Connection modes can be easily switched using the dedicated switch on the side of the keyboard or via specific FN key combinations.

Bluetooth 5.0 Connection

The keyboard can connect to up to 3 Bluetooth devices simultaneously. To pair:

1. Switch the mode selector on the side of the keyboard to the Bluetooth position.
2. Press and hold FN + 1, FN + 2, or FN + 3 for 3 seconds. The indicator light will flash, indicating pairing mode.
3. On your device (PC, laptop, tablet, smartphone), search for "AULA F87" in the Bluetooth settings and select to connect.
4. Once connected, the indicator light will stop flashing.

2.4GHz Wireless Connection

For a stable wireless connection using the included USB receiver:

1. Locate the 2.4GHz USB receiver, usually stored in a compartment on the keyboard.
2. Plug the receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
3. Switch the mode selector on the side of the keyboard to the 2.4GHz position. The keyboard should automatically connect.

USB-C Wired Connection

For a direct and reliable connection:

1. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the keyboard's USB-C port.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB port on your computer.
3. Switch the mode selector on the side of the keyboard to the Wired position.

Key Functions and Layout

The AULA F87 features a 75% TKL layout, retaining essential function keys and arrow keys while optimizing desktop space. It includes a multi-function control knob for quick adjustments.

RGB Backlighting and Effects

The keyboard is equipped with 15 stunning RGB lighting effects and side RGB light bands. It also features 10 unique music rhythm lighting effects that synchronize with audio beats.

• FN + \ |: Switch between 15 RGB lighting effects.
• FN + TAB: Change RGB light color.
• FN + ↑ / ↓: Adjust lighting brightness.
• FN + ← / →: Adjust lighting speed.
• Multi-function Knob: Controls brightness, lighting modes, volume, and playback.

Programmable Driver

Troubleshooting

• Keyboard not connecting: Ensure the mode switch on the side of the keyboard is set to the correct position (BT, 2.4G, or Wired). For Bluetooth, ensure the keyboard is in pairing mode and visible to your device. For 2.4GHz, ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged in. For wired, check the USB-C cable connection.
• RGB lights not working or incorrect: Check the brightness settings using FN + ↑. Cycle through lighting effects with FN + \ |. Ensure the keyboard battery is sufficiently charged if using wireless mode.
• Keys not responding: If specific keys are not responding, the switch might be faulty. Utilize the hot-swappable feature to replace the switch with one of the included spare switches or a compatible replacement.
• Battery draining quickly: Reduce RGB brightness or turn off RGB lighting to conserve battery life. Ensure the keyboard is turned off when not in use.
• Programmable driver issues: Ensure the keyboard is connected via USB-C wired mode when using the programmable driver, as it only supports wired mode for driver functionality.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the keyboard. For deeper cleaning, carefully remove keycaps using the provided keycap puller and use compressed air to clear debris from under the switches.
• Storage: When not in use, store the keyboard in a dry, dust-free environment. The included plastic cover can help protect it from dust.
• Battery Care: Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the keyboard regularly to maintain optimal battery health.
