1. Setup Guide

1.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection

Carefully unpack your new OPPO A59 5G smartphone. Verify that all components are present:

  • OPPO A59 5G Smartphone
  • Adapter (33W SUPERVOOC Charger)
  • USB Cable (Type-C)
  • SIM Tray Ejector
  • Phone Case
  • Screen Protector (pre-applied or included)

Inspect the device for any physical damage before proceeding.

1.2 Inserting SIM Cards and SD Card

  1. Locate the SIM card tray on the side of your phone.
  2. Insert the SIM tray ejector tool into the small hole next to the tray and press gently until the tray pops out.
  3. Place your Nano SIM cards (up to two) and/or a microSD card into the designated slots on the tray. Ensure the gold contacts face downwards.
  4. Carefully reinsert the tray into the phone until it clicks into place.

1.3 Powering On and Initial Configuration

  1. Press and hold the Power button (located on the right side) until the OPPO logo appears on the screen.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts to select your language, region, and connect to a Wi-Fi network.
  3. Sign in with your Google account or create a new one to access Google services and the Play Store.

1.4 Charging the Device

  • Connect the USB cable to the adapter and then to the charging port at the bottom of the phone.

2. Operating Instructions

2.1 Basic Navigation

  • Touch: Tap an icon to open an app or select an item.
  • Swipe: Slide your finger across the screen to scroll, switch screens, or close apps.
  • Pinch: Use two fingers to zoom in or out on photos and web pages.

  • Calls: Open the Phone app, enter the number or select a contact, then tap the call icon.

  1. Open the Camera app.
  2. Switch between front and rear cameras using the icon on the screen.

2.5 Battery Management

  • Enable power-saving modes in Settings > Battery.
