4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

1. Ensure the light is switched off.
2. Align a charged Bosch Professional 18V System battery with the battery compartment.
3. Slide the battery into the compartment until it clicks securely into place.
4. To remove the battery, press the red release button on the battery and slide it out.

Note: Batteries and chargers are sold separately and are not included with the GLI 18V-800 light. This device is compatible with the AMPShare battery partnership system.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off and Brightness Adjustment

The GLI 18V-800 features a single control button for all light functions.

1. To Power On: Press the control button once. The light will turn on at the lowest brightness setting.
2. To Adjust Brightness: Press the control button repeatedly to cycle through the three available brightness levels (Low, Medium, High). The light provides up to 800 lumens at its highest setting.
3. To Power Off: After cycling through all brightness levels, pressing the button one more time will turn the light off. Alternatively, press and hold the button for approximately 2 seconds to turn off the light from any brightness setting.

5.2 Positioning the Light

The light head offers flexible positioning options:

• Swivel: The light head can swivel 360° around its base, allowing for broad area illumination.
• Tilt: The light head can tilt 180°, enabling precise direction of the light beam.
• Magnetic Attachment: Utilize the integrated strong magnet on the base to attach the light to ferrous metal surfaces for hands-free operation.
