3. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to prepare your Magic Mirror for its first use:

1. Install Batteries:
   • Locate the battery compartment on the back of the Magic Mirror.
   • Using a screwdriver, open the battery compartment.
   • Insert 3 x AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
   • Securely close the battery compartment with the screwdriver.

2. Remove Packaging Ties and Stickers:
   • Carefully remove any safety ties or plastic packaging from the mirror and doll.
   • Peel off any protective stickers from the mirror's surface and the confetti cover.
   • Remove the confetti lock from the back of the mirror.
3. Prepare the Doll for First Reveal:
   • The Skylar doll is secured inside the mirror for the initial reveal. An adult will need to carefully cut the ties holding the doll in place.
   • Ensure the doll's hair and dress are neatly tucked within the side clips to prevent jamming during the reveal.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Magic Reveal Mode

Experience the magical reveal of your Pixie Supreme doll:

1. Power On: Switch the power button on the back of the mirror to the "ON" position (circle symbol).
2. Awaken the Mirror: Touch the diamond on the mirror's surface to awaken the magical face.
3. Prepare the Potion:
   • Fill the potion cup with water up to the indicated line.
   • Add the dissolvable butterfly wings (Step 1 ingredient) to the water and wait for them to dissolve.
   • Once dissolved, touch the diamond on the mirror again.
   • Add the magic stone (Fizz Tablet - Step 2 ingredient) to the water and wait for the moon crystal to appear.
   • Dry the moon crystal with a paper towel.
   • Once dry, touch the diamond on the mirror again.

4. Final Reveal:
   • Press the moon crystal into the top of the mirror until you hear music.
   • Stand back and say "Magicus Mixus!" The doll will then be revealed with confetti.

4.2. Fortune Telling Mode

After the magic reveal, you can use the mirror to tell fortunes:

1. Switch Mode: Move the power button on the back of the mirror to the "STAR" symbol.
2. Ask a Question: Ask the Magic Mirror a yes or no question.
3. Get Your Fortune: Press the diamond on the mirror's surface to receive an answer.

4.3. Resetting the Magic Reveal

To perform the magic reveal again:

1. Turn Off Mirror: Ensure the Magic Mirror is turned off.
2. Place Doll: Clip the Pixie Supreme doll's waist into the clip inside the mirror.
3. Tuck Dress and Hair: Tuck the doll's feet and dress into the base, and contain her hair within the side clips.
4. Reset Mechanism: Pull the handle on the back of the mirror until you hear it click. The doll will return to its hidden position.
5. Restart: To begin the reveal process again, switch the mirror on and press the diamond.

4.4. Skipping Reveal Steps (Quick Reveal)

For a quick reveal without performing all potion steps:

1. Ensure Unit is Off: Make sure the Magic Mirror is turned off.
2. Hold Crystal Mount: Press and hold down the top crystal mount.
3. Turn On: While holding the crystal mount, switch the unit to "ON".
4. Continue Holding: Keep holding the crystal mount for 3 seconds until music starts.
5. Release: Stand back, and the doll will be revealed.

• Cleaning: Wipe the Magic Mirror with a clean, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.

• Battery Replacement: When the mirror's lights dim or sounds become distorted, it's time to replace the batteries. Turn off the mirror, open the battery compartment, replace old batteries with 3 new AA batteries, and secure the compartment.
