5. Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the night light from its packaging.
  2. Choose Location: Select a standard electrical outlet in your desired location (e.g., hallway, bedroom, bathroom). Ensure the area around the night light is clear to allow for optimal motion detection. Avoid placing it near direct light sources that might interfere with the dusk sensor.
  3. Plug In: Insert the night light directly into the electrical outlet. The compact design ensures it does not block other outlets.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Automatic Operation

The GRIFEMA GD103-1 night light operates automatically based on ambient light and motion detection:

  • Daylight Hours: The night light remains off during daylight or when the ambient light is sufficient, thanks to its integrated dusk sensor.
  • Dark Environments: In dark conditions, the night light will activate automatically when motion is detected within its 3-meter, 120-degree detection range.
  • Auto-Off: If no motion is detected for approximately 60 seconds, the night light will automatically turn off to conserve energy.

  1. Locate the small button on the front of the night light, below the motion sensor.
  2. Press the button repeatedly to cycle through the 5 brightness levels (20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 100%) and an OFF state.
  3. Select the desired brightness level that best suits your environment.
