3. Package Contents

Upon opening the package, verify that all items are present and in good condition:

4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to set up your X-PROG3 PC Adapter:

1. Connect the Adapter: Connect the X-PROG3 PC ADAPTOR to your computer using the provided USB cable. Subsequently, connect the X-PROG3 PC ADAPTOR to the G3 unit.

2. Launch Software: Click to enter the software application. Note: The software cannot be accessed without both the X-PROG3 PC ADAPTOR and G3 unit connected.
3. Serial Number Recognition: The serial number will be automatically recognized from the X-PROG3 PC ADAPTOR upon software launch.
4. Obtain Activation Code: The activation code required for the software is located on the envelope that came with your X-PROG3 PC ADAPTOR.

5. Activate Software: Click the [Activation] button within the software. This step is only required once for initial setup.

5. Operation

Once the X-PROG3 PC Adapter is set up and the software is activated, you can begin using its functionalities for IMMO programming and data management. Refer to the software's internal help documentation for detailed operational procedures specific to various tasks.

• Navigating the Menu: Utilize the 2D menu for selecting desired functions such as reading, writing, or modifying data.
• Data Search: Use the powerful search function to quickly locate specific EEPROM chip data or E-Control Unit information.
• Data Modification: Follow on-screen prompts to safely modify E-Control Unit data as required.
• Data Copying: Employ the easy data copy feature for backup or transfer purposes.
