1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

  • Electrical Safety: All electrical wiring must be performed by a qualified electrician and conform to local and national electrical codes. Disconnect power at the circuit breaker before installation or servicing.

4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Pre-Installation

  • Turn off power at the circuit breaker.

  • Gather necessary tools (screwdriver, wire strippers, ladder, etc.).

4.2 Mounting Bracket Installation

Secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling junction box using the provided screws. Ensure it is firmly attached. This fan is compatible with sloped ceilings up to 15 degrees.

4.3 Downrod Assembly and Wiring

  • Select the appropriate downrod length for your ceiling height.
  • Feed the electrical wires from the fan motor through the downrod.
  • Attach the downrod to the motor housing and secure with the provided pin and screw.
  • Carefully lift the fan assembly and hang it on the mounting bracket hook.

4.4 Blade Attachment

  • Attach each solid wood blade to the motor housing using the provided screws. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.
  • Important: Ensure the blades are installed with the correct side facing up as indicated in the detailed manual to ensure proper airflow. Incorrect installation can significantly reduce air movement.

4.5 Light Kit Installation

  • Connect the light kit wires to the corresponding wires from the fan motor.
  • Attach the light kit assembly to the bottom of the motor housing, twisting or screwing it into place as per the design.

5. Operating Instructions

Your QUTWOB ceiling fan is operated using the included remote control. Install 2 AAA batteries (not included) into the remote control.

6. Maintenance
