5. Installation Guide
This recessed light features a canless design, eliminating the need for a separate housing. It is suitable for various ceiling types, including soffit, single drywall, and double drywall.
- Step 1: Cut a Hole
Using a hole saw, cut a 4.33-inch diameter hole in the desired ceiling location. Ensure there is at least 2 inches of clearance above the ceiling for the junction box. - Step 2: Connect Wiring
Open the junction box. Connect the household electrical wires (live, neutral, ground) to the corresponding wires inside the junction box using appropriate wire connectors. Ensure all connections are secure. - Step 3: Connect Light Panel
Connect the cable from the LED light panel to the junction box. Ensure the connection is firm. - Step 4: Mount Light
Push the spring-loaded clips on the sides of the LED light panel upwards and insert the light into the ceiling hole. The clips will secure the light firmly against the ceiling.

Color Temperature Selection (5CCT)
The Amico recessed light offers five color temperature options. To select your desired color temperature:
- Locate the slide switch on the side of the junction box.
- Slide the switch to choose between 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K.
- Make your selection before mounting the junction box in the ceiling for easier access.
