3. Product Overview
Transmitter (TX)
- Internal Mic: Built-in omnidirectional condenser microphone for 360° sound pickup.
- 3.5mm TRS External Mic Interface: For connecting an external lavalier microphone (not included).
- USB-C Charging Port: For charging the transmitter.
- Power/Mute Button: Long press for On/Off, short press for muting/unmuting.
- Denoise/Volume Increase Button: Long press to turn on/off denoise, short press to increase volume.

4. Setup
4.1 Initial Charging
Unzip the charging and storage case. Place all transmitters and the receiver into their respective slots. The charging case has a USB-C port for charging. Connect a power bank or DC power supply to the charging case via the 2-in-1 charging/audio output cable. The four indicator lights on the charging case will light up in sequence during charging and stay on when fully charged. Each light represents 25% of the power.

4.2 Automatic Pairing
The Vimo Q units are pre-paired by default. Simply take them out of the charging case, and they will automatically power on and pair. The receiver screen will display the power and charging status of the transmitter, receiver, and charging box.
4.3 Manual Pairing
If manual pairing is required, place the transmitter and receiver into the charging box. Long press the pairing button on the left side of the charging box to initiate automatic pairing. Alternatively, if there is no charging box, switch all transmitters and receivers to pairing mode by long-pressing their respective pair buttons. After successful pairing, the transmitter indicator light will turn blue.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off & Mode Switching
Transmitter (TX): Long press the Power/Mute button to turn the transmitter On/Off.
Receiver (RX): Long press the Power/Mode Switch button to turn the receiver On/Off. Short press this button to switch between Mono, Stereo, and Quad modes. In Mono/Stereo mode, audio signals are mixed. In Quad mode, each audio signal is output as an individual track.

5.2 Volume Adjustment & Mute Function
Volume: Use the Denoise/Volume Increase button (short press) and Pair/Volume Decrease button (short press) on the transmitter to adjust the volume. The transmitter has 6 levels of volume. The receiver screen displays the transmitter volume (A, B, C, D) and battery level.
Mute: Short press the Power/Mute button on the transmitter to mute or unmute the microphone. The working indicator light will turn red when muted.

5.3 Noise Cancellation
Long press the Denoise/Volume Increase button on the transmitter to turn the one-click noise cancellation feature On/Off. The working indicator light will turn green when denoising is active.

5.4 External Microphone Usage
The transmitter features a 3.5mm TRS external mic interface. To use an external lavalier microphone, please purchase a compatible 3.5mm TRS lavalier mic and plug it into the transmitter's external mic interface.
6. Connectivity
The Vimo Q offers broad compatibility with various devices, including cameras, mobile phones, tablets, and computers.

6.1 Analog Output (3.5mm TRS)
Connect the receiver's 3.5mm TRS Audio Output Interface to your camera using the provided 3.5mm TRS-TRS audio cable. This mode is suitable for devices with a 3.5mm audio input.
6.2 Digital Output (USB-C)
Connect the receiver's USB-C Charging/Audio Output Interface to your mobile phone, tablet, or computer using the 2-in-1 charging/audio output cable. For devices with a Lightning interface (e.g., older iPhones), you may need to purchase a separate USB-Lightning adapter cable with OTG function or a 3.5mm TRRS-Lightning adapter cable.
7. Maintenance
- Keep the device dry. Do not expose it to rain or moisture.
- Handle with care. Avoid dropping or subjecting the device to strong impacts.
- Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Store the device in its charging case when not in use to protect it and keep it charged.
8. Troubleshooting
- Device not turning on or crashing: Insert a pin into the reset hole on the receiver to reset and restart automatically.
- No audio or poor audio quality:
- Ensure transmitters and receiver are properly paired (blue indicator light).
- Check battery levels of all units.
- Verify all cables are securely connected to the correct ports.
- Adjust volume levels on the transmitters and receiver.
- Activate noise cancellation if in a noisy environment (green indicator light).
- Ensure the internal mic is pointed towards the sound source or external mic is properly connected.
- Interference or signal dropouts:
- Ensure you are within the 656ft operating range in open areas.
- Avoid obstacles that may block the signal.
- Re-pair the devices if connection is unstable.
