1. Introduction

4. Setup
4.1. Installing Batteries
The safe requires 4 AA batteries (not included) for the electronic keypad and biometric scanner. The battery compartment is located on the inside of the safe door, behind the door organizer.
- Open the safe using one of the emergency keys.
- Locate the battery compartment on the inside of the door.
- Insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment cover.

4.2. Initial Opening and Setting Up Access
Upon first use, the safe must be opened with an emergency key to install batteries and set up your preferred access methods.
- Locate the emergency keyhole, usually hidden behind a cover on the front panel.
- Insert and turn the emergency key clockwise to unlock the safe.
- Open the safe door.
4.3. Setting a New Password
The safe allows for a 3 to 8 digit password.
- With the safe door open, press the reset button located on the inside of the door (usually a small red button).
- The keypad will illuminate. Enter your desired 3-8 digit password.
- Press the "#" key to confirm.
- Test the new password with the door open before closing it.
4.4. Registering Fingerprints
The biometric sensor can store up to 30 fingerprints. For optimal accuracy, register your fingerprint from multiple angles.
- With the safe door open, press the reset button.
- Place your finger firmly on the fingerprint sensor. The light will flash.
- Lift and reposition your finger slightly, repeating the scan multiple times (typically 5-8 times) until the indicator light confirms successful registration.
- Repeat for additional fingerprints as desired.

4.5. Mounting the Safe
For enhanced security, it is recommended to mount the safe to a wall, floor, or other stable surface using the provided expansion screws.
- Choose a suitable location for mounting.
- Mark the drilling points through the pre-drilled holes on the back or bottom of the safe.
- Drill pilot holes into the chosen surface.
- Align the safe with the drilled holes and secure it using the expansion screws.

5. Operating the Safe
5.1. Opening with Fingerprint
- Place a registered finger firmly on the biometric sensor.
- If successful, the indicator light will turn green.
- Turn the knob clockwise to open the safe door.

- Enter your 3-8 digit password on the keypad.
