Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to prepare your grilled sandwiches or other items:
- Preparation: Prepare your ingredients. For sandwiches, butter the outer sides of the bread slices for a crispier result.
- Preheating: Close the sandwich maker and plug it into a 220-240V AC electrical outlet. The red power indicator light will illuminate. The appliance will begin to preheat.
- Ready Indicator: Once the appliance reaches the optimal cooking temperature, the green 'ready' indicator light will illuminate. This indicates the sandwich maker is ready for use.
- Cooking: Carefully open the sandwich maker using the handle. Place your sandwich or other food items onto the bottom grill plate. Close the lid gently, ensuring the latch is secured.
- Cooking Time: Cook for approximately 3-5 minutes, or until the sandwich is golden brown and heated through. Cooking time may vary based on ingredients and desired crispness. The automatic thermostat will regulate the temperature, and the green light may cycle on and off during cooking.
- Removal: Once cooked, carefully open the lid. Use a heat-resistant plastic or wooden spatula to remove the food. Do not use metal utensils, as they can damage the non-stick coating.
- Completion: After use, unplug the appliance from the wall outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning or storing.
Note: The non-stick plates are designed to prevent food from sticking, making cooking and cleaning easier. The grill effect creates appealing horizontal lines on your food.
