- Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 10 cm (4 inches) of clear space around the back and sides of the appliance to allow for proper air circulation. Do not place it directly under cabinets.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded wall outlet.
- Initial Run (Optional but Recommended): For the first use, it is recommended to run the air fryer empty for about 10-15 minutes at 180°C (350°F) to eliminate any manufacturing odors. A slight odor may be present, which is normal and will dissipate.

Basic Operation
- Power On: Plug in the appliance. The power button will illuminate. Touch the power button to turn on the display.
- Placing Food: Pull out the cooking basket using the cool-touch handle. Place your food inside the basket. Do not overfill the basket to ensure even cooking.
- Selecting a Program:
- Preset Programs: The air fryer comes with 10 predefined programs for various dishes. Touch the corresponding icon on the LED screen to select a program. The default temperature and time for that program will be displayed.
- Manual Setting: Alternatively, you can manually set the temperature and time. Use the temperature adjustment buttons (usually '+' and '-') to set the desired temperature (from 30°C to 200°C). Use the time adjustment buttons to set the cooking time (up to 24 hours).
- Preheating (Optional): For best results, especially for items that require crispiness, use the preheat function. Touch the "PREHEAT" button. The air fryer will heat up to the set temperature.
- Starting Cooking: Once the program or manual settings are selected, touch the "START" button to begin cooking.
- Shaking/Turning Food: For some recipes, it is recommended to shake or turn the food halfway through the cooking process. The air fryer may have a "TURN REMINDER" function or you can simply pause the cooking by pulling out the basket. The appliance will automatically pause and resume when the basket is reinserted.
- Monitoring: You can check the cooking progress through the display.
- Automatic Shut-off: The air fryer will automatically shut off when the timer reaches zero, accompanied by an audible alert.
- Removing Food: Carefully pull out the basket. Use heat-resistant tongs to remove the cooked food.
- Power Off: Touch the power button to turn off the appliance. Unplug from the wall outlet when not in use.
Special Functions
- Dehydration: This function allows for dehydrating fruits, vegetables, and meats. Set the temperature to a lower range (e.g., 30°C-80°C) and extend the cooking time significantly (several hours).
- Keep Warm: Some models may include a "Keep Warm" function to maintain food temperature after cooking.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your air fryer.
- Before Cleaning: Always unplug the air fryer from the power outlet and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.
- Cleaning the Basket: The cooking basket has a non-stick coating. Wash it with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. For stubborn residue, soak the basket in warm water for about 10 minutes before cleaning. Do not use metal utensils or abrasive cleaning materials as they can damage the non-stick coating.
- Cleaning the Interior: Wipe the interior of the air fryer with a damp cloth. If necessary, use a mild detergent. Ensure no water enters the electrical components.
- Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing the air fryer. Store it in a cool, dry place.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Air fryer does not turn on. | Not plugged in; power outlet not working; basket not properly inserted. | Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Check if the basket is fully pushed into the unit. |
| Food is not cooked evenly. | Basket is overfilled; food pieces are too large; food not shaken/turned. | Do not overfill the basket. Cut food into smaller, more uniform pieces. Shake or turn food halfway through cooking. |
| White smoke coming from the appliance. | Grease residue from previous use; fatty food being cooked. | Clean the basket and interior thoroughly after each use. For fatty foods, place a small amount of water in the bottom of the drawer to prevent smoke. |
| Food is not crispy. | Not enough oil (if applicable); temperature too low; cooking time too short. | Lightly brush or spray food with oil. Increase temperature or cooking time. Ensure preheating is done. |
