To ensure proper fitment, verify your vehicle's model year and existing headlight type. For Toyota vehicles, VINs starting with "1", "4", or "5" indicate vehicles assembled in the US. VINs beginning with "2" indicate vehicles assembled in Canada, and VINs that start with "J" were produced in Japan. This product is designed for North American/Canadian built models and does not fit Japan-built models.

5. Operating the Headlights
Once installed, operate your headlights using your vehicle's standard controls. The high/low beam function is controlled by your vehicle's stalk switch. The turn signals and parking lights operate as per your vehicle's original design.
Headlight Beam Adjustment:
The headlight assembly includes an adjuster to fine-tune the beam direction. Proper adjustment ensures optimal visibility without blinding oncoming traffic. Locate the adjuster screw on the back of the headlight housing (refer to 'Back Details' image in Section 3). Use a screwdriver to turn the adjuster to raise or lower the beam as required. It is recommended to perform this adjustment on a level surface, facing a wall, following local regulations for headlight aiming.

6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your AXLAHA Headlight Assembly, regular maintenance is recommended.
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the outer lens with a soft cloth and mild soap solution to remove dirt and debris. Avoid abrasive cleaners that can damage the UV coating.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the headlight assembly for any signs of damage, cracks, or moisture intrusion. The IP70 waterproof rating helps prevent water accumulation, but extreme conditions or physical damage can compromise this.
- Bulb Replacement: If a bulb burns out, replace it promptly with the correct type (H4 for high/low beam, 4157A for turn signal). Ensure the vehicle is off and cool before handling bulbs.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your headlight assembly, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Headlight Not Working: Check the bulb for damage or burnout. Verify electrical connections are secure. Inspect the vehicle's fuse box for a blown headlight fuse.
- Dim Lighting: Ensure the correct wattage bulbs are installed. Check for any haze or dirt on the lens that might be obstructing light output.
- Condensation Inside Lens: Small amounts of condensation can occur due to temperature changes and typically dissipate. If excessive or persistent, ensure the one-way vent is clear and not blocked. Check for cracks in the housing or seal.
- Improper Beam Pattern: Use the integrated adjuster to correct the beam alignment. If the issue persists, ensure the headlight assembly is securely mounted.
For persistent issues or complex problems, it is recommended to consult a professional automotive technician.
