2. Setup and Assembly

Before first use, ensure all parts are clean. The Hurom H320 is designed for easy assembly. Follow these steps to set up your juicer:

  1. Place the motor body on a stable, flat surface.
  2. Insert the inner strainer (fine or coarse, depending on desired pulp level) into the outer strainer.
  3. Place the assembled strainer set into the juicing chamber.
  4. Insert the auger into the center of the strainer assembly, ensuring it is seated correctly.
  5. Attach the self-feeding hopper onto the top of the juicing chamber, aligning the arrows and twisting to lock it into place.
  6. Connect the juicing chamber assembly onto the motor body, aligning the arrows and twisting until it clicks securely.
  7. Place the pulp container under the pulp chute and the juice container under the juice spout.
  8. Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

3. Operating Instructions

The Hurom H320 is designed for hands-free operation, allowing you to prepare large batches of juice with minimal effort.

3.1 Preparing Produce

  • Wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly.
  • For most produce, pre-cutting is not necessary due to the large self-feeding hopper. Whole apples, carrots, and other similar-sized items can be added directly.
  • Remove hard seeds (e.g., from mangoes, peaches) and tough stems (e.g., from apples) to prevent damage to the juicer and ensure smooth operation.
  • For fibrous vegetables like celery, it is recommended to cut them into shorter (e.g., 1-inch) pieces to prevent stringing and optimize juice extraction.

3.2 Juicing Process

  1. Ensure the juice spout cap is closed before starting.
  2. Turn the juicer ON using the control dial.
  3. Place prepared produce into the self-feeding hopper. The auger will automatically draw the produce down and begin the slow squeeze process.
  4. Monitor the juice and pulp containers. The juicer is designed for high yield, producing dry pulp and rich juice.
  5. If the juicer becomes jammed or struggles, use the 'REV' (Reverse) function briefly to dislodge the produce, then switch back to 'ON'.
  6. Once juicing is complete, open the juice spout cap to dispense the juice into your container.

4. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning is essential for maintaining the performance and longevity of your Hurom H320. All removable parts should be hand washed with lukewarm water and mild dish soap.

4.1 Disassembly for Cleaning

  1. Ensure the juicer is turned OFF and unplugged from the power outlet.
  2. Remove the self-feeding hopper by twisting and lifting.
  3. Remove the juicing chamber assembly from the motor body.
  4. Disassemble the auger, strainers, and juicing chamber.
  5. Open the pulp outlet cap to remove any remaining pulp.

4.2 Cleaning Process

  • Rinse all disassembled parts under running water to remove large pulp residues.
  • Use the provided cleaning brush to scrub the mesh strainer thoroughly. The brush has different ends for various cleaning needs.
  • Wash all other parts (auger, chamber, hopper, containers) with warm, soapy water.
  • Rinse all parts completely to remove soap residue.
  • Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.

Important: Do not wash any parts in a dishwasher, as this can damage the materials and affect the juicer's performance and lifespan.

5. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Juicer does not turn on.Not properly assembled or plugged in.Ensure all parts are correctly assembled and locked, and the power cord is securely plugged in.
Motor stops during operation.Overload due to hard produce or too much produce at once.Press the 'REV' button for a few seconds, then 'ON'. If it still doesn't work, disassemble and clear any blockages. Cut harder produce into smaller pieces.
Excessive pulp in juice.Coarse strainer used or produce is too soft.Use the fine strainer for less pulp. For very soft fruits, consider mixing with harder produce.
Low juice yield.Produce not suitable for juicing or improper feeding.Ensure produce is fresh. Feed produce at a steady pace, allowing the auger to process it fully.
