Setup and Pairing
1. Battery Installation
Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote. Insert two (2) AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover securely.
2. Initial Pairing with Your TV
- Ensure your LG TV is powered on.
- Point the Magic Remote towards your TV.
- Press the Wheel (OK) button located in the center of the directional pad. The remote should automatically pair with your TV.
- If the pointer function is not working, press and hold the GUIDE button for more than 5 seconds to disconnect and re-register the motion sensor remote control. This step is often necessary for new remotes or remotes previously used with another TV.
Note: If the TV fails to register the Magic Remote, try again after turning the TV off and then back on.

Operating Instructions
Voice Function
The Magic Remote features voice recognition, supporting Google Assistant and Alexa. To use this function, ensure your TV has an active internet connection. Press and hold the Voice Recognition button (microphone icon) and speak your command. Release the button when finished speaking.
Pointer Function (Magic Remote)
The wheel button also functions as an air mouse. Move the remote to control a pointer on the TV screen. Press the Wheel (OK) button to select items. If the pointer disappears, shake the Magic Remote to reactivate it.
