Setup

Initial Placement and Power Connection

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the FRFR112 MKII from its packaging.
  2. Positioning:
    • Wedge Position: Place the speaker on the floor, angled upwards towards the performer, for use as a stage monitor.
    • Upright Position: Place the speaker vertically on a flat, stable surface for general amplification.
    • Pole-Mounted Position: Insert the speaker onto a standard 36mm speaker pole for elevated sound projection.
  3. Power Connection: Ensure the power switch on the rear panel is in the "OFF" position. Connect the included power cable to the AC input on the rear panel and then to a grounded power outlet.

Operating the FRFR112 MKII

Basic Operation

  1. Power On: Flip the power switch on the rear panel to the "ON" position. The power LED will illuminate.
  2. Volume Control: Adjust the independent Volume 1 and Volume 2 knobs to set the desired output level for each input.
  3. HPF EQ Switch: Use the HPF (High-Pass Filter) EQ switch to cut low frequencies (100 Hz) if needed, which can help clarify the sound in a dense mix or prevent muddiness.
  4. Ground-Lift Switch: If you experience hum or noise due to ground loops, activate the Ground-Lift switch.

  3. Streaming: Once paired, you can stream audio from your device through the FRFR112 MKII. This is ideal for playing along with backing tracks or listening to music during breaks.
