Operation

Scanning Modes

The scanner offers three distinct scanning modes to optimize workflow efficiency:

Choose from three scanning modes to best suit your operational needs.

  • Manual Trigger Mode: Press the trigger button to scan each barcode individually. Ideal for precise, controlled scanning.
  • Continuous Scanning Mode: The scanner continuously emits a scan beam, reading barcodes as they pass through the field of view without needing to press the trigger. Suitable for high-volume scanning.
  • Auto-sensing Scanning Mode: The scanner automatically detects a barcode within its range and scans it without manual trigger input. This mode is perfect for hands-free operation when the scanner is placed on its stand.

Data Upload Modes

The scanner supports two data upload modes:

The scanner supports both instant data transfer and offline storage.

  • Instant Upload Mode: Scanned barcodes are immediately transmitted to the connected device. This is the default mode for real-time data entry.
  • Storage Mode: Barcodes are stored internally in the scanner's memory. This mode is useful when working out of range of the host device. The scanner can store up to 100,000 barcodes. Data can be uploaded to the host device later by scanning a specific command barcode from the manual.

Barcode Compatibility

The Anyeast AT-006 scanner is capable of decoding a wide range of 1D and 2D barcodes, including those on paper or digital screens.
