5. Setup and Installation

Before you begin, ensure you have the necessary tools: a drill, stud finder (for wood studs), level, pencil, and screwdriver.

Step 1: Determine Mounting Location and Wall Type

Choose a suitable location on your wall. Use a stud finder to locate wood studs if applicable. Mark the desired height for the top of your TV.

Step 2: Attach Wall Plate to Wall

  • Position the wall plate at the desired height and use a level to ensure it is perfectly horizontal. Mark the drilling holes with a pencil.
  • Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. The drill bit size will depend on your wall type and the anchors used.
  • Insert wall anchors (if required for concrete/brick).
  • Secure the wall plate to the wall using the appropriate lag bolts and washers. Tighten firmly but do not overtighten.

Step 3: Attach TV Brackets to TV

  • Lay your TV face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
  • Identify the VESA mounting holes on the back of your TV.
  • Select the correct screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware kit that fit your TV's VESA holes.
  • Attach the two TV brackets to the back of your TV, ensuring they are centered and securely fastened. The brackets should be oriented so they can hook onto the wall plate.

Step 4: Mount TV onto Wall Plate

  • With assistance, carefully lift the TV and hook the TV brackets onto the top edge of the wall plate.
  • Gently lower the TV until the brackets fully engage with the wall plate. The mount features a double hook design and anti-drop edge for enhanced safety.
  • Engage the quick release system or safety screws at the bottom of the TV brackets to secure the TV to the wall plate, preventing accidental dislodgement.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your TV wall mount.

  • Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary.
  • Clean the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Inspect the mount for any signs of wear, damage, or corrosion. If any issues are found, contact customer support.

8. Troubleshooting

TV is not level after installation:

Ensure the wall plate was installed perfectly level. Some mounts offer minor post-installation leveling adjustments on the TV brackets. If not, you may need to slightly adjust the wall plate.

TV feels unstable or wobbly:

Verify that all mounting screws for both the wall plate and TV brackets are securely tightened. Ensure the safety screws/quick release system is engaged. Confirm the wall type is appropriate and the mount's weight capacity has not been exceeded.

Difficulty tilting the TV:

Ensure no cables are obstructing the tilting mechanism. The tilt mechanism is designed to hold the TV firmly, so some resistance is normal. If it's excessively stiff or loose, check for any obstructions or contact support.
