It comes equipped with a TQ 2.4 GHz radio system for precise control and includes a 7.2-volt rechargeable NiMH battery with both USB-C and 12-volt DC chargers.

2. Safety Information

Operating remote-controlled boats requires adherence to safety guidelines to prevent injury and damage. Always operate your boat responsibly.

  • Water Safety: Never operate the boat in areas where swimmers or wildlife may be present. Avoid operating in strong currents or near obstacles.
  • Battery Safety: Always use the provided charger and battery. Do not overcharge or short-circuit batteries. Keep batteries away from heat and flammable materials. Disconnect the battery when not in use.
  • Propeller Hazard: The propeller can cause serious injury. Keep fingers, hair, and loose clothing away from the propeller when the boat is powered on. Never touch the propeller while it is spinning.
  • Electronic Components: While the electronics are waterproof, avoid prolonged submersion or operating in extremely harsh conditions. Ensure the boat's hatch is securely sealed before placing it in water.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Battery

  1. Connect the 4-amp USB-C Fast Charger to a compatible USB-C power source or use the 12-volt DC charger with a vehicle's power outlet.
  2. Connect the 7.2-volt NiMH battery to the charger. Ensure the connection is secure.
  3. Allow the battery to charge fully. The charger will indicate when charging is complete (refer to charger's LED indicators for status).
  4. Once charged, disconnect the battery from the charger.

4.2 Installing the Battery in the Boat

  1. Carefully remove the boat's hatch cover.
  2. Place the charged NiMH battery into the designated battery compartment inside the hull.
  3. Connect the battery to the Electronic Speed Control (ESC) connector.
  4. Ensure all wires are neatly tucked away and do not interfere with moving parts or the hatch seal.
  5. Securely reattach the hatch cover, ensuring a watertight seal.
